A beautiful first for Connected Women Deparo 💜

Last April 25, we held our very first meetup at Darcy's Kitchen and Cafe and it was exactly what we hoped it would be: real, honest, and deeply human.

With the theme “Proof of Life,” each woman brought pieces of her story—grit, passion, and humanity—shared not through slides, but through artifacts that spoke louder than any presentation ever could. From “noble failures” to quiet obsessions to lived moments beyond the screen, the room was filled with courage, laughter, and connection.

We also got to celebrate something extra special: the birthday of our generous host, Ms. Sarah, and our youth lead, Janine. Two women who are helping shape this space into something meaningful for the community.

A heartfelt thank you to Sweet Treats and Craftes for lovingly curating the cake and tokens for our birthday girls. Your thoughtful touch made the celebration even more special 🎂✨

This is a win for Connected Women North Caloocan.

More than just a meetup, this marks the beginning of more safe spaces where women can show up as they are, open up without judgment, and learn from one another.

And we’re just getting started ✨
