PASAY CITY — The Philippine Plastics Industry Association (PPIA) invites the public to "Plastic Reimagined 2026: From Waste to Innovations," a three-day celebration of creativity, environmental stewardship, and the circular economy, running 8–10 October 2026 at PackPrintPlas 2026, SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

Organized by PPIA with Global-Link MP Events International, Inc., and supported by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the exhibit brings together local government units (LGUs), industry, and advocates to show how plastic waste can be recovered, redesigned, and turned into valuable products.

This year's showcase features Manila, Pasig, Caloocan, Malabon, Valenzuela, and Parañaque, with each city presenting recycled and upcycled creations, environmental programs, and community efforts that highlight local action toward responsible waste management and resource recovery. The display also features upcycled plastic products from Sentinel Upcycling Technologies Inc. and industrial and construction slabs made from plastic laminates by Plastimer Industrial Corporation.

Packprintplas 2026 is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Plastic Reimagined exhibit will be formally opened with a ceremony on 8 October at 2:30 p.m., after which the public can tour the LGU booths, learn the stories behind each project, and see how post-consumer plastic becomes useful and inspiring designs.

Visitors are invited to come and vote for their favorite LGU booth to receive a recycled-plastic token after voting, and another chance to win bigger prizes in joining the Dice Game.

The LGU winners of the People's Choice Award will be announced during the Awarding and Closing Ceremony on 10 October at 3:30 p.m. in Hall 1, SMX.
