ELEVENTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST | HOLY COMMUNION CELEBRATION โจ
Sunday Worship Service

August 9, 2026 | โฐ 10:00 AM
Welcome to our Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost Worship Service as we gather with grateful hearts to worship, remember, and give thanks for the faithfulness of our God. As we continue our journey through the Season after Pentecost, we are reminded that our stories of faith are also stories of God's goodness, presence, and grace. โจ๐
This Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost invites us to remember what God has done in our lives and to tell the stories of His faithfulness. Through our songs, prayers, testimonies, and worship, we proclaim that God has been with us through every season, giving us strength when we are weary, hope when we are discouraged, and courage when we face uncertainty. ๐ถ
As we continue our Stewardship Month*celebration with the theme โLove Boldly: Entrusted with Godโs Manifold Grace,โ we are reminded that stewardship includes caring faithfully for the lives God has entrusted to us. This week's theme, โSelf-Care,โ reminds us that caring for ourselves is not selfish when it helps us remain healthy, renewed, and ready to serve God and others. โค๏ธ๐
There are seasons when we need to pause, rest, pray, and allow God to restore our hearts. Just as Jesus calls us to serve, He also reminds us of our need for His presence and renewal. May we learn to care for our minds, bodies, spirits, and relationships while trusting God through every circumstance.
Today, we also gather around the Lord's Table for the Celebration of the Holy Communion. As we receive the bread and cup, we remember Christ's sacrificial love and the grace that continually sustains us. May this sacred meal renew our strength and remind us that we never walk through life's challenges alone. ๐๐ทโค๏ธ
May our worship today become a time of remembering, resting, renewing, and responding, remembering God's faithfulness, resting in His presence, renewing our strength, and responding to His grace through faithful stewardship and service.
Let us come with open and grateful hearts, ready to sing the stories of God's goodness, receive His Word, experience His grace, and encourage one another as one family in Christ.
โจ โGive praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.โ - Psalm 105:1 โจ
May we never forget what God has done, and may His faithfulness give us strength to care for ourselves, care for one another, and faithfully serve His purposes. ๐
