Another week calls for another moment to pause, look back, and learn from the experiences that shaped us. 💭

For this week’s 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, we hear from Nina Cassandra Ricafort, our SHS Cachet Grade 11 Representative, as she reflects on the recent class suspensions and the value of learning alongside others.

Her reflection reminds us that while being apart may make us appreciate our independence, it can also make us realize the importance of connection, collaboration, and the people we learn with. Sometimes, the lessons we need are found not only in our books, but in the people who help us understand them. 🤝📚

This Bible verse reminds us that even when we are not certain about our future, God already knows the plans he has for us.

Every challenges, disappointments or moments when we feel lost, we should continue to trust him. Because he is the only one that gives us hope and always remind us that our future is not something we face alone.

God has a meaningful purpose to us. He gives us strength, hope and comfort. We may not know what our future is, but the most important one is continuing to have faith that he is leading us toward a brighter future.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

How many times do you recall sitting in front of someone and hearing their deepest thoughts unfold in a blink? In a rush of emotions, surging, and scurrying through a pond of memories, telling you they would trade anything just for a moment of peace and solace in a world full of bleakness.

How many times do you recall thinking of a response to give—because, you have not been placed in a situation like theirs before? Waiting for a perfect opportunity to lay out what you think is helpful for them.

Well, we cannot simply turn back time and fix what we have done wrong—supposedly. What matters more is how we face the next one successfully.

As we celebrate the month of September as the World Su***de Prevention Month where we recognize the many individuals who faces current hurdles and tribulations on their respective lives—we do not just want to spread awareness about how important Mental Health is, or learning about the concept of Su***de. But we also want to implore how crucial we act productively. How we spread rhetorics that help amplifying what they need help at, how we lend a hand and a mindful ear in times of adversity, and ultimately, how we process what we say to people who are struggling—and we can only do that with two things:

𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲.

Being surrounded with an environment that fosters education and learning, we must also keep in mind the beauty of social relationships. In halls where we find echoes that may reduce the moment someone feels uncomfortable. In rooms where we interact with our classmates witnessing their widest smile only to disappear once somebody makes jokes about their appearance. In lunch tables where we see students dazzlingly glow amidst a crowd only to dim once they step foot in a place they then called home. Surely, everyone of us would know the dangers of bystander effect.

With introspection comes our ability to regulate what our feelings, emotions, and expressions may look like. And with empathy comes our ability to practice placing ourselves on someone else's shoes to know how hard it feels like. To know what they feel like and hopefully, help them alleviate their condition for at least a moment.

By doing so, we are not just saving lives but also creating a universal space where anyone can speak up, voice out what they feel, and share their experiences. By doing so we do not think of them indifferent, but to magnify their voices and echo in the chamber of time to make the next generation act as well.

With that, the Campaign for Character Education Tenacity Club wants to make this month not just a celebration but also a reminder. A reminder that with every seat taken is a story carrying a bag full of worries and struggles—and we, as seatmates, classmates, schoolmates, and people of this country must pat shoulders whenever we can. Lie on each other's shoulders to show what true humanity looks like. And this can only be achieved through you. Your participation and your eagerness to change and save lives.

Because you, me, and everyone matters; because 𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝓵𝓲𝓯𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼. 🫂🌻

Ngayong National Heroes Day, ating alalahanin ang mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang tapang, panahon, at buhay para sa ating bayan. Sa kanilang mga sakripisyo, nabuo ang kalayaang ating tinatamasa at ang bansang patuloy nating ipinaglalaban.

Ang tanong na “Bayan o sarili? Pumili ka!” ay hindi lamang isang hamon mula sa nakaraan. Isa rin itong paalala sa kasalukuyan—na ang tunay na pagmamahal sa bayan ay nakikita sa ating mga desisyon, paninindigan, at pagkilos para sa kapwa.

Hindi man tayo humaharap sa parehong laban na hinarap ng ating mga bayani, may kanya-kanya tayong pagkakataong maging bayani sa simpleng paraan: tumulong, maglingkod, manindigan, at piliin ang tama kahit walang nakakakita.

In a world where we can easily become too busy with our own lives, it is important to remember that everyone has their own story, struggles, and feelings that we may not always see. Being 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐨 means choosing to understand those stories instead of judging them, and choosing to care even when we do not know what someone is going through. 🫂

Through 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲, we learn to listen—not just to hear someone’s words, but to understand what they truly feel. Through 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, we learn that understanding becomes more meaningful when we choose to do something about it. A simple act of kindness, a comforting word, or simply being present can remind someone that they are not alone. 💙

Being 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐚 reminds us that care begins with the people closest to us. Our families and communities become stronger when we choose to support one another, especially during moments when someone needs a little more understanding, patience, or love. 🏡🤍
