This is it. The moment we say goodbye.
To the Gender and Development (GAD) Batch 2024–2025 — this is our final bow. We walked into this journey unsure of what to expect, unaware of the impact it would leave on us. But now, as we close this chapter, we carry with us stories, laughter, lessons, and memories that will echo far beyond these walls.
We began as strangers, many of us asking, “Ano ‘yung GAD?” We were uncertain, hesitant, and unprepared for what lay ahead. Then came the projects — demanding, relentless, challenging. Some stepped up to lead, others simply hoped to survive. But all of us learned. We found our voices. We stood our ground. We learned to fight for what we believed in.
We laughed. We got scolded. We showed up late. We crammed like there was no tomorrow.
But we were in it — together.
To those we clashed with, we offer peace.
To those we shared laughter with, thank you.
To those who remained silent, you were seen.
To those who left midway, we understand.
To those who stayed until the end — we made it.
This isn’t a fairy tale.
There’s no glitter, no perfect ending.
It’s real. It’s raw. It’s filled with what-ifs and sana.
But for one moment in time — we had each other.
We were a batch. We were a force. We were everything.
We weren’t perfect.
We weren’t the best.
But we were loud. Passionate. Resilient. Tired, but always present.
And now, it’s time to sign off.
This was Gender and Development 2024–2025.
Goodbye, GAD.
Goodbye, batchmates.
This is the last time our names will appear on the same page — as one.
We were not just students.
We were advocates.
We were GADvocates.
