HAPPY SCOUTING MONTH! ⚜️🌿

As we continue on our way as Senior Scouts, let us share the spirit of Scouting and all the good values it brings along this Scouting Month. “Being a Scout means so much more than wearing the uniform, being part of an organization, or learning new skills. It is about the qualities of a responsible person, one who is willing to serve, who is a leader, who learns and helps others wherever we go.

As Senior Scouts of Outfit 506, Bagong Silang High School, we are always reminded about the importance of service, leadership, discipline, preparedness, teamwork, respect and kindness. These values teach us to be better Scouts and better students as well as members of our community.

Every Scout has a responsibility. Whether it is to help a fellow classmate, to tend to the needs of our own school, to do community service, to help keep our environment clean, or just to do some good deed for somebody who needs it, even the tiniest of things can make a big difference.

Scouting also teaches us that being a leader means more than just having authority. A leader knows how to listen, how to cooperate, how to take responsibility and how to set good examples for others. From every challenge, activity, experience we have gathered, we continue to learn new things and apply those lessons in our lives as we grow from our years spent in Scouting.

This month is also a special time where we acknowledge and appreciate those who continue to guide and give directions as we pursue our Scouting journey. Our Outfit Advisor, to all Scout Leaders, teachers and school administration and head, our fellow Scouts and all those who continually teach us, support us, care for us and help us become better people.

To all the Scouts out there, let us continue to do our best in living by the ideals we learn from Scouting. Let us continue to learn and serve, to be prepared, to help others and do a good turn daily. May our actions reflect the spirit of a Scout, not just this month but every day of our lives.

The founder of the Scouting Movement it self say, encouraged the Scouts everywhere to be “do a good turn daily.” May this simple reminder encourage us all to be look outs for somebody else, to do something for somebody in need and to be able to contribute to wherever we go.

Let us carry the spirit of a Scout wherever we go and continue to uphold our school's and our Outfit's name with pride, discipline, unity and most importantly, with our devotion and loyalty.

Three days of encampment built with fun adventure, teamwork, friendship, and memorable experiences! ✨

In this encampment, we didn't just learn different types of knot tying, bandaging, and compass reading. We also made unforgettable memories, friends in different districts, and learning what makes a Scouting truly meaningful. ✨

September 8 | Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Today, Bagong Silang High School Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Outfit 506 celebrates the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a special day dedicated to honoring the birth of the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mama Mary is a beautiful example of faith, humility, love, and obedience to God. Her life reminds us to trust in God, remain faithful, and always choose kindness and service toward others.

As Scouts, may the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary inspire us to be more responsible, respectful, compassionate, and willing to serve our school and community.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary continue to guide and protect our school, families, leaders, and fellow Scouts. May her prayers bring peace, hope, and blessings to everyone.

HAPPY NATIONAL TEACHERS MONTH!!🫡⚜️

Ngayong Buwan ng mga G**o, ating ipagdiwang ng buong puso at pasalamatan ang mga g**o nating masisipag na mag turo sa atin.

Nagpapasalamat ang BSHS-SENIOR SCOUTS OUTFIT 506 ng buong puso sa mga Scout Leaders at mga G**o na patuloy tayong ginagabayan para sa ating pangarap. Ang bawat hakbang na ating nagagawa, sila'y nandyan para tayo'y tulungan at maging gabay sa direksyon natin sa buhay. Ang mga iniwan ninyong salita sa amin ay aming bibitbitin patungo sa aming mga pangarap at mga bagay na dadalhin namin sa paglaki.

Isang mataas na pagpupugay sa lahat ng mga G**o at Scout Leaders!🫡 Kayo ang nagpahiwatig sa amin na maging sa lahat ng pagkakataon. Mahal namin kayo!⚜️🫡

🇵🇭 NATIONAL HEROES DAY 2026 | ARAW NG MGA BAYANI ⚜️

SCOUTS GOOD MORNING SCOUTS! 🫡

Ngayong araw, August 31, 2026, nakikiisa ang buong Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Bagong Silang High School sa pagdiriwang ng National Heroes Day sa buong bansa.

Ngayong araw ay inaalala natin ang sakripisyo at katapangan ng lahat ng mga bayani ng Pilipinas. Mula sa mga kilalang bayani tulad nina Dr. Jose Rizal at Andres Bonifacio, hanggang sa mga hindi kilalang bayani na tahimik na naglingkod para sa ating kalayaan.

Hindi lang sa nakaraan makikita ang kabayanihan. Sa panahon ngayon, bayani rin ang bawat g**o na nagtuturo, ang bawat sundalo na nagbabantay, ang bawat volunteer na tumutulong sa evacuation center, at ang bawat Scout na Laging Handa na tumulong sa kapwa ng walang hinihintay na kapalit.

Bilang mga Scouts, magsisilbi itong inspirasyon sa atin upang mas maging matapat, masipag, at matulungin sa ating komunidad. Ipagpatuloy natin ang diwa ng bayanihan at pagmamahal sa bayan.

Isang pagpupugay sa lahat ng bayani ng Pilipinas, noon at ngayon.

Mabuhay ang mga Bayani! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Mabuhay ang BSP!
