WEngaged PH proudly supported the Book Nook SM Cares Program by promoting and encouraging the love of reading among young learners. ❤️📚

As part of our commitment to education, WEngaged PH brought the Kinder and Grade 1 learners from Gomburza Elementary School to join the special Book Reading & Donation event with Mika Salamanca, featuring her inspiring children’s book Lipad.

We proudly share that since 2022 we have partnered with CANVAS - Center for Art, New Ventures & Sustainable Development advocacy, One Million Books for One Million Filipino Children. Now on its 3rd year, our partnership continues to spread stories and smiles!

This year, we brought the award-winning storybook “Ang Pusang Kartero” to the bright and eager Grade 1 pupils of Gomburza Elementary School, Caloocan City. 🎒👧👦

The joy on their faces as they flipped through the pages reminds us why we do this—because every child deserves the chance to read, imagine, and dream. 🌟

We are grateful for small steps that spark bigger dreams for our learners.

Last June 10, alongside the launching of the LIFELINES Mobile Application at Diparicao Elementary School in Cauayan City, we also had the privilege of sharing books donated by CANVAS - Center for Art, New Ventures & Sustainable Development.

Children from far-flung communities received copies of Pusang Kartero, Looking for Juan, and YouThink. These are more than just books—they are windows to imagination, mirrors of identity, and tools to help our youth think critically in today’s changing world.

To CANVAS, thank you for your generosity and for standing with us in making education more inclusive, empowering, and filled with stories that matter.

Here’s to more learners reached, more classrooms enriched with books, and more communities united through the power of reading and innovation with Project LIFELINES.
