The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), headed by Sir Bert Arnejo, MPDO Monitoring Project Development Officer, conducted a monitoring and evaluation visit to the Sigo Youth Organization’s egg-laying farm. The team assessed the current status of the organization, including the condition of its livelihood program under SLPA, as well as the concerns and challenges being faced.

In response, the Sigo Youth Organization shared that sustaining the current livelihood project has become difficult. After careful discussion, the majority decided to transition to a new project that will better support and ensure the continuity of the youth’s livelihood program.

This step reflects the organization’s commitment to adapt, grow, and continue empowering the youth despite challenges.
