Day 3 of GEG Camp 2026 – PBB Generalist Edition!

A meaningful and exciting conclusion to three days filled with learning, collaboration, and unforgettable experiences! On this final day (April 12, 2026), the awarding ceremony was held to recognize the outstanding participants and teams who excelled in the different activities and challenges.

From April 10–12, 2026, GEG Camp truly showcased the power of knowledge, creativity, and teamwork in inspiring growth and success.

Day 2 of GEG Camp 2026 highlighted the participants’ skills, teamwork, and strategic thinking as each team took part in various games and challenges. Every group demonstrated determination, cooperation, and sportsmanship, making the activities both engaging and memorable.

After the games, the participants gathered for a spiritual activity that allowed everyone to pause, reflect, and reconnect. This meaningful session added depth to the day, creating a balance between fun, learning, and personal growth.

As the day came to a close, the experiences shared and lessons learned will surely remain with everyone, strengthening bonds and inspiring each participant to continue growing together.

Today marked the successful celebration of GEG Camp 2026, carrying the theme "Igniting Passion and Shaping the Minds of Generalists.”This year’s event highlighted the PBB Generalist Edition, bringing together enthusiasm, creativity, and collaboration among participants.

The morning session began with an energetic yell presentation from each team, followed by an engaging flag hunting activity. This was succeeded by an orientation on Lesson Planning, originally prepared on behalf of Dr. Jaime E. Sagayap Jr., Ed.D., and effectively delivered by Mr. Lito M. Mag-Ampo, MAEd. Another insightful discussion focused on Multigrade Classes, presented by our esteemed guest speaker, Dr. June B. Errojo, Ed.D. We extend our sincere gratitude to our guest speakers for sharing their knowledge and expertise.

In the afternoon, the “Be the BEEDa” Talent Showcase took place, where each team proudly presented representatives to exhibit their unique talents and creativity. The event was judged by alumni and invited guests, to whom we are deeply thankful for their time and support.

The pre-games featured a beach volleyball match, where despite the intense heat of the sun, the dedication and teamwork of each group were clearly evident.

Overall, we express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful and memorable event. Truly, this experience will remain in our hearts—and we’re already looking forward to more moments like this together!

The Tara Basa Tutoring Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for Tutors and Youth Development Workers (YDW) was successfully conducted in partnership with Northwest Samar State University.

Selected BEED students from 2nd year to 4th year participated in the program, showing their commitment to support young learners and improve their reading skills. The 5-day Capability Building Activity was held from March 9–13, where participants gained valuable knowledge, strategies, and experiences in tutoring and child development.

On the final day, a Pre-Deployment Activity was conducted, followed by the Closing Program, marking the preparation of tutors as they get ready to serve the community and help children develop better reading skills.

Congratulations to all the participants, and good luck on your deployment! May you continue to inspire and help young learners grow in their reading journey.

The Generalist Educators Guild successfully conducted its 2nd General Assembly, entitled “Connect, Collaborate, Create,” on February 12, 2026, at the 4th Floor of the College of Criminal Justice and Sciences (CCJS). The assembly served as a venue for the presentation of ACR and narrative reports, liquidation reports, and discussions focused on strengthening preparations for the upcoming GEG Camp.

GEG officers and members actively participate in discussions and planning during the 2nd General Assembly.
