𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆—some remind 📝 us that dignity should never depend on identity or perception. Tonight, at the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, we honor lives shaped not only by illness 🩹 but also by stigma and discrimination. 𝙀𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙨 🗣️ 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 🌎 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮🧍🏻‍♀️𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙣, 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮.

May these lights become a 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 to turn 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 into 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. As each candle 🕯️flickers, may we choose compassion over stigma, and stand in solidarity with those affected by HIV/AIDS—𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 🔨 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. ❤️‍🩹

We, the Barkada Kontra Droga Organization of Calbayog City National High School, proudly took part in the 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 Summit on April 18, 2026, organized by 𝗞𝗔𝗪𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀.
This gathering of young leaders stood as a bold call to rise, to lead, and to protect spaces where respect, safety, and dignity must always prevail. It was more than an event—it was a movement that challenged us to speak, act, and stand firm.

As advocates of a drug-free and empowered youth, we carry forward the summit’s mission with stronger purpose. We stand united in building safe spaces, defending voices that matter, and shaping a community grounded in discipline, awareness, and courage. This experience fuels our commitment to lead not just in words, but in action.

Let's be honest — most of us only think about our health when something already hurts. 😅 We wait until we're exhausted, burnt out, or sick before we finally pay attention. This World Health Day, let's break that habit. Taking care of yourself doesn't have to be complicated. Drink your water. Get some sleep. Move your body, even just a little. The basics are basic for a reason — they actually work.
