On March 2, 1950, at the Nicanor Reyes Hall, Room 214, Far Eastern University, Manila, Philippines; the first organization of Alpha Phi Omega outside of the United States of America was established. It is now known as the Alpha Chapter.

Today, January 9, 2025 or 1/9/25, is a once-in-a-lifetime special date that aligns perfectly with the founding year of Alpha Phi Omega (APO), 1925.

The coincidence of today’s date (1/9/25) with the year 1925 is a rare occurrence that will not happen again, making it a meaningful moment to reflect on APO’s legacy.

As we celebrate this unique numerical coincidence, it also serves as a reminder that APO’s 100th anniversary is just around the corner. May this day serve as a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the rich legacy of Alpha Phi Omega.
