Today, our TVET students attended their OJT orientation together with their parents/guardians. It was a simple but meaningful event where everyone learned about the goals, expectations, and guidelines for the upcoming on-the-job training. The presence of parents/guardians made the activity more special, as they were able to support and guide their children in this important step.

We are grateful to all the parents/guardians who took the time to join us. Your support plays a big role in the success of the students. We are excited to see them grow, learn new skills, and gain real experience as they begin their OJT journey.

We are pleased to share that Fr. Onofre G. Inocencio, Jr., SDB, together with Fr. Paul Michael B. Suarez, SDB, Mr. Ronel Puertullano, and Mr. Nicanor Malubay III, conducted a benchmarking visit last April 17–19, 2026 at Guimaras Skills Academy Corp. (GSAC) in Sibunag, Guimaras, and Iloilo Skills Academy Corp. (ISAC) in Di**le, Iloilo.

The three-day visit provided a valuable opportunity to learn from their programs and best practices. The team explored their work in agriculture, technical training, and skills development, as well as their approaches to managing educational programs. The insights gained from this visit will help improve our own programs and services for our learners and the community.

We sincerely thank Ma’am Teresa A. Jondonero, President of GSAC, and Sir Jesnar Pamplona Osano, President of ISAC, for their warm welcome and support during the visit. We truly appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge and experiences.

We look forward to building stronger partnerships and continuing our shared goal of promoting growth, innovation, and excellence in education and skills development.

Today, the students of Don Bosco Calauan brought learning beyond the classroom as they conducted a community outreach program at Brgy. Perez, Calauan, Laguna. Together with their trainers, our TVET students shared not only their knowledge but also their hearts through service. It was a day filled with energy, purpose, and joy as they connected with the community.

Students from MSES/ATS program proudly showcased their skills by performing basic maintenance such as change oil, gear oil replacement, coolant flushing, brake cleaning and adjustment, CVT cleaning, and electrical troubleshooting. Meanwhile, our Agriculture students shared simple yet helpful lessons on urban farming and kitchen waste composting, and generously gave seedlings to participants. Students from EIM/PVI program demonstrated basic electrical installations like 3-way and single switches, as well as a basic PV direct system, and provided basic electrical tools. Beyond skills and knowledge, the spirit of service was truly alive as some students also helped in preparing and distributing food in the feeding area.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Captain of Brgy. Perez, Hon. Gener Hernandez, for the warm welcome, support, and for allowing us to serve his community. This outreach is a reminder that small acts, when done with love, can create a big impact. Truly, our TVET students are not only skilled but also compassionate—ready to serve, inspire, and make a difference in the community.

Today was a special and meaningful day as the Salesians and Lay Mission Partners of Don Bosco Calauan came together for a Visita Iglesia in different churches in Laguna. We traveled as one group, visiting Nuestra Señora De La Candelaria Parish in Mabitac, Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Siniloan, Nuestra Señora Dela Natividad Parish in Pangil, Saint Peter of Alcantara Parish Church in Pakil, Saint James the Apostle Parish in Paete, San Sebastian Parish in Lumban, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Pagsanjan.

In every church, we prayed, stayed quiet for a while, and felt God’s presence with us. Each place gave us a calm and peaceful feeling. It reminded us how important our faith is. Walking together made the day more meaningful, and it helped us grow closer to each other.

This Visita Iglesia was not only about visiting churches, but also about renewing our faith and spending time with God. We are thankful for this chance to pray and reflect. May this experience guide us to live with faith, kindness, and purpose every day.
