E. Zobel Foundation E. Zobel Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in April 1990.

Its founder, the late Don Enrique Zobel, always believed that “through education there is hope for a better life”. Taking this cue from the businessman-philanthropist, the Foundation continues to uphold quality public education system by focusing on five major program areas: school infrastructure development, teacher training, student health and nutrition, learning support and other special projects. Empowering Breast Health & Early Detection!

On September 19, 2026, the E. Zobel Foundation, Inc. (EZF), through its Breast Care Program – Patient Assistance Initiative, facilitated free breast diagnostic assistance for 10 beneficiaries (5 breast ultrasounds and 5 mammograms) at St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

This vital initiative was made possible through the generous assistance of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, which covered the diagnostic expenses, and the support of LGU Calatagan, Batangas in coordination with Barangay 4, which provided transportation for our beneficiaries.

Together with our partners, EZF remains dedicated to breaking financial and logistical barriers, promoting early detection, and ensuring accessible healthcare for our community.

WE ARE HIRING: 2 Cultural Mapping Research Staff! 🌿📜

Are you passionate about Calatagan’s rich history, culture, and community? Mahalina Foundation is looking for two (2) dynamic Research Staff to join our 6-month Cultural Mapping initiative in Calatagan, Batangas!

Help us weave together the stories, lived experiences, and heritage of our 23 barangays through Participatory Action Research (PAR). Together, let’s lay the foundation for a future rooted in identity and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, process, analyze, and document community data and secondary sources.
- Conduct literature reviews and field data collection.
- Help set up local events and conduct community discussions.
- Provide technical support and collaborate closely with our youth research partners.

Qualifications & Eligibility:
- Resident of Calatagan, Batangas (Aged 18+).
- At least 2 years of relevant research experience (Degree in Community Development, Education, Environmental Science, or related fields is a plus).
- Proficient in facilitating inclusive discussions and skilled in MS Word & Excel.
- Fluent in both English and Filipino.
- Curious, dynamic, a strong team player, and passionate about Calatagan’s history with a wide local network.

Perks & Compensation:
- Monthly Allowance: ₱15,000 / month (6-month full-time contract).
- Specialized training in research, communication, storytelling, and relational data-gathering methods.
- Logistical project support.

On August 21, 2026, the E. Zobel Foundation, Inc. (EZF) held a hands-on training session on SwiftGrade and ClassPoint for 27 educators at the Enrique Zobel Technical Center (ENZO TECH) in Brgy. Gulod, Calatagan, Batangas!

Facilitated by Mr. Bryan Christofer M. Saraza, the workshop gave our teachers practical skills to automate daily tasks, simplify test grading, and make lessons more interactive for their students.

This activity is part of our EDVANCE (Advancing Education and Teaching Efficiency Through Automation) program, which equips educators with digital tools across 4 specialized modules:

- e-Master: Automated school forms and record-keeping
- Eval Bee: Fast, accurate optical mark recognition grading
- SwiftGrade: Efficient assignment and assessment scoring
- ClassPoint AI: Interactive presentations and real-time student quizzes

By reducing administrative burdens through modern technology, EZF empowers teachers to focus on what matters most: inspiring and engaging our learners!

Together for Breast Health, Together for Our Community!

Last August 15, 2026, the E. Zobel Foundation, Inc. (EZF), through its Breast Care Program, assisted eight ( 8 ) beneficiaries from our community in accessing essential breast diagnostic services at St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center.

Four (4) beneficiaries underwent breast ultrasound examinations, while four (4) received mammography procedures.

With the generous support of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and transportation assistance from the LGU Calatagan, Batangas, these essential healthcare services became more accessible to those in need.

Through strong partnerships and compassionate care, we continue to promote breast health awareness, early detection, and accessible healthcare for our community.

On August 7, 2026, the E. Zobel Foundation, Inc. (EZF) and EATON Corporation plc proudly celebrated 25 new Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II graduates under our Skills Training to Career Acceleration program at ENZO TECH! 🎓✨

Over 196 hours of rigorous training, these 25 individuals mastered essential electrical and safety competencies—equipping them for immediate workforce integration. To help them hit the ground running, each graduate received an official Certificate of Completion and a starter toolkit to jumpstart their electrical service careers! 🛠️⚡

A huge congratulations to our 24th batch of EIM NC II passers! As class representative Mr. Christopher Consul inspiringly shared:

“Hindi sukatan ang edad, hindi hadlang ang hirap, at lalong hindi hadlang ang takot para matuto.”

Promoting Breast Health Through Early Detection

On July 28, 2026, the E. Zobel Foundation, Inc. (EZF) successfully conducted a Community Level Breast Screening Activity under its Breast Care Program in Barangay Poblacion 1, Calatagan, Batangas.

A total of 25 women participated in the activity, receiving breast screening and orientation on proper Breast Self-Examination (BSE) techniques with the support of dedicated and trained Barangay Health Workers (BHWs). Participants were also informed that those with suspicious findings may be referred for free breast ultrasound and/or mammography through EZF's Breast Care Program.

By empowering women with knowledge and improving access to early detection services, EZF continues its commitment to promoting preventive healthcare and supporting healthier communities.

Early detection saves lives. Know your body. Check regularly. Seek medical advice when something feels unusual.

GIVE BLOOD, SAVE LIVES!

Join us for our upcoming Blood Donation Drive organized by E. Zobel Foundation, Inc., in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross and Calatagan Municipal Health Office. Your single donation can make a world of difference for someone in need!

When: July 31, 2026 (Friday)
Time: 8:00 AM onwards
Where: EnzoTech Function Hall

Who Can Donate?
• Age: 18–65 years old (Donors under 18 years old must present a signed parental consent form).
• Weight: Minimum of 110 lbs (50 kg).
• Sleep: At least 6 hours of sleep prior to donation.
• Health: Must feel healthy with no symptoms of cough, cold, or fever.

Pre-Donation Guidelines:
No smoking for at least 4 hours before donating.
No alcoholic beverages consumed the day prior to donation.
Must not have received an anti-rabies vaccine in the past year.
No recent tattoos (last session must be at least 1 year ago).
