✨ SCI-KA LOOK ALIKE COMPETITION✨
Vote for the Next Face of Science! ❤️

The stage is set and our young scientists are ready to shine!

Bued National High School proudly presents Sci Ka Look Alike Contest, where Grade 7–12 students transform into the world’s most brilliant minds.
From biology to physics to chemistry, each participant brings their chosen scientist to life through creative costumes and convincing portrayals, proof that science can be fun, inspiring, and full of personality. 🎭

By learning their stories, we see how diverse ideas spark progress and how curiosity shapes the future. 🌍✨

Mechanics:

1. The contest is open to all Grade 7–12 students.
2. Each year level shall have two (2) representatives:
• 1 male student
• 1 female student
3. Each contestant must portray a famous scientist(local or international) through costume and characterizatio.
4. Costumes may be improvised, creative, or borrowed, but must be school-appropriate, safe, and modest.
5. Contestants must participate in the popularity contest:
• Their pictures will be posted on the official BNHS Science Club page.
• Heart reactions will be counted as the legitimate count only
Share and comments do not count on the final scores
• Only accounts followed the official school/organization page and hearts on the contestant picture will be counted.
6. Voting through reactions and sharing of entry (September 30- October 2, 2025)
5. End of online voting (October 2, 2025 at 8pm).
6. Contestants should strictly avoid the auto reaction generator. Please be respectful when commenting on each picture.
7. Online votes and updates will be monitored by Dr. Lorie Mae V. Viloria & Ma’am Charmine Marie Aquino

7. Judging shall be based on the following criteria:
Costume & Resemblance --------30%
Creativity & Resourcefulness-----25%
Photo Presentation (pose, clarity, neatness, expression)—---------20%
Overall Impact/Convincing Portayal -----15%

🔊SCI-ECHO 2025

Held last September 19, 2025, at the BuedNHS Science Laboratory, this year’s Sci-Echo was nothing short of inspiring.

With the theme “SPATIALYZE: Surveying Society, Sensing Solutions,” the event focused on the power of science communication through our very own Echo Talk, a platform where young scientists voiced bold ideas, shared local insights, and presented innovative solutions to pressing issues in society.

From topics on climate change, sustainable technology, to community-based scientific initiatives, our student speakers proved that science isn’t just for the lab, it’s a tool for change.

Echo Talk gave our learners the opportunity to not only speak up but to spark curiosity, conversation, and collaboration among their peers.

We are proud of our student scientists for amplifying their voices and making science echo far beyond the classroom!

With every stroke of their pens, participants bring science to life, crafting slogans that highlight the importance of technology, innovation, and community awareness. Their words spark curiosity, guiding society toward progress and sustainable solutions.

This is more than just a contest — it’s a call to action. These slogans remind us that science is not just for the classroom but for building a better future. Together, we sense, we solve, and we shape tomorrow.
