Basic Filipino Sign Language Training in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro📍 (July 22–23, 2024)

This event was held during the celebration of National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week, with the theme “Promoting Inclusion: Celebrating Abilities and Advocating Access.”

President John Riven T. Canilang willingly shared his knowledge and actively taught the participants during the training, contributing to the success of the activity.

This experience reminds us that when we learn to communicate with one another, we break barriers and build stronger connections. 🤟🏼✨

Basic Filipino Sign Language Training in Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro📍

The Basic Filipino Sign Language Training conducted on March 24–25, 2025 in Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro became a meaningful step toward building a more inclusive community. Participants were able to learn basic signs, improve their communication skills, and gain a better understanding of Deaf culture.

As a result, the training helped raise awareness about the importance of inclusion and gave confidence to both Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and community members in communicating with the Deaf. It also strengthened cooperation within the community, showing that simple efforts can create real change.

Auditor Austine Faith A. Mabuti was also willing to share knowledge and actively teach the participants during the training, contributing to the success of the activity.

This experience reminds us that when we learn to communicate with one another, we break barriers and create stronger connections. 🤟🏼✨

Our CCOD invited the Deaf community to a special Christmas Party last December 14, 2025🎄🤟

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Governor, Vice Governor, Mayor, Vice Mayor, and all generous donors for their support and donations that made this celebration possible💛

The Deaf community of Calapan City truly enjoyed the food, games, gifts, and fun activities. It was a day full of smiles, laughter, and happy memories. 🎁🍽️

This celebration showed the strong unity and connection within our Deaf community. Thank you to everyone who joined and made this event meaningful✨
