Panariling Kaunlaran ng Ka-Mangyanan, Incorporated (PKKi) was established to support the self-determined development of Mangyan communities through technical and financial assistance, partnership, and long-term stewardship.
This page is being re-opened to help preserve institutional memory, honor the people and relationships that shaped this work, and provide a place where its history and continuity can be responsibly held.

PKKi’s work was rooted in close relationship with Mangyan communities, including the children and families of Bailan and surrounding sitios, whose lives, knowledge, and resilience gave meaning and direction to the organization’s mission.

We also acknowledge with deep respect the late Fr. Flynn, who dedicated the majority of his life to the service of the Mangyan people. He consistently emphasized the importance of self-reliance and dignity — often reminding us of the wisdom of teaching a person how to fish, rather than offering only short-term solutions. He lived this principle in practice, working to ensure that Mangyan communities could shape their own futures on their own terms.

The foundations laid through PKKi continue to inform and support indigenous-led initiatives today. We share this record with gratitude for those who came before, and with care for those who will carry the work forward.
