🚨 URGENT APPEAL FOR JANSSEN 🚨

Today, our rescue dog Janssen was found unable to move. Alarmed by her condition, we immediately rushed her to the veterinarian for emergency assessment and blood chemistry testing.

The results were heartbreaking. Janssen's blood work revealed severely elevated kidney values, with Creatinine at 14.2 mg/dL (normal: 0.5–1.8 mg/dL), along with critically high BUN and Phosphorus levels, indicating advanced kidney disease. She also suffered a seizure and was unable to stand when she was brought to the clinic.

Despite her condition, Janssen is fighting, and we are doing everything we can to give her a chance.

She has been prescribed multiple medications, IV fluids, kidney support supplements, antibiotics, anti-seizure medication, and other supportive treatments. Due to the urgency of her case, treatment had to begin immediately, and we signed a promissory note with the veterinary clinic so that Janssen could receive the care she desperately needs.

We are now humbly asking for your help to cover:

🐾 Emergency veterinary consultation
🐾 Blood chemistry and laboratory tests
🐾 Medications and kidney supplements
🐾 IV fluid therapy and hospitalization expenses
🐾 Follow-up laboratory monitoring and treatment

We are raising 12k to cover Janssen vet bills and medicines.

For everyone's information, SECASPI is NOT affiliated, connected, partnered, endorsed by, or associated with Pawz for Strays in any way. We have not authorized the use of our videos, photos, name, logo, or rescue stories for the promotion, marketing, or sale of any merchandise.

The couple featured in the video, Jollyana and Ringel, owners of Pet Lagoon and long-time supporters of our shelter, are likewise NOT connected, affiliated, or associated in any way with Pawz for Strays or its shirt-selling activities.

We have also received messages from concerned members of the public regarding comments posted on the page. While we are not in a position to verify these claims, we encourage everyone to exercise caution and perform their own due diligence before making any online purchases or donations.

SECASPI receives no proceeds, benefits, or support from the sale of these shirts.

If you wish to support our rescued animals and shelter operations, please do so only through SECASPI's official donation channels and official social media pages.

🐾 UPDATE ON RADAR: TRANSFER OF CUSTODY TO BIYAYA ANIMAL CARE 🐾

Many of you have been following Radar's story after he was found injured near SECASPI Shelter, unable to move properly after being hit by a vehicle.

Following the veterinary assessment in Calamba, we received heartbreaking news. Radar suffered a severe spinal injury, and the veterinarian advised that the surgery he requires is highly complex and cannot be performed at their facility. This type of procedure requires specialized equipment, advanced facilities, and a veterinary team experienced in handling complicated spinal cases.

Faced with Radar's condition and our limited resources, we were confronted with a difficult reality. We initially thought that the kindest option might be to spare him further suffering.

But then an angel stepped in.

Doc Geraldine Mayor, the woman behind Pawlantrophy, Inc., informed us that Biyaya Animal Care was willing to take Radar under their care and give him a fighting chance.

We immediately agreed.

While SECASPI is committed to rescuing animals in need, we recognize our limitations. Radar deserves the best possible opportunity for treatment and recovery, and Biyaya Animal Care has the veterinary expertise, facilities, resources, and capacity to manage cases as complex as his.

Although it is difficult to let him go, this decision is made entirely for Radar's welfare. His chance of recovery is far greater in the hands of a team equipped to provide the specialized care he urgently needs.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Doc Geraldine Mayor, Pawlantrophy, Inc., and Biyaya Animal Care for opening their hearts to Radar and giving him hope when his future seemed uncertain.

Please continue to keep Radar in your thoughts and prayers as he begins the next stage of his journey.

🚨 URGENT APPEAL FOR RADAR 🚨

Yesterday, a dog was reported crawling near SECASPI Shelter after being hit by a vehicle. We later named him Radar.

To be honest, we initially did not want to rescue him. SECASPI is already struggling financially, and we have very limited resources. We had no sponsor, no funds, and no assurance that we could provide the care he would need.

But when our caretaker saw Radar helpless, injured, and unable to move properly, he simply could not turn his back on him. Radar was brought to SECASPI and today he was rushed to the veterinarian.

Because of the generosity of Geraldine Mayor , Pawlanthropy Inc. Radar was immediately given veterinary attention. Doc Geraldine funded the initial veterinary expenses amounting to ₱4,850, which has already been paid directly to the clinic. We are deeply grateful for her compassion and support.

📋 Veterinary Findings (see attached results):

Severe anemia

Increased white blood cell count

Spinal fracture at L5-L6 (broken backbone)

Possible complications affecting urination and defecation

Veterinarian strongly recommends immediate surgery

Radar now faces the biggest battle of his life.

💔 We are caught in the middle.

Do we rescue him and keep him safe at SECASPI, knowing we have no funds but giving him a chance to live?

Or do we leave him where he was hit, suffering on the roadside and vulnerable to another tragic accident?

We chose to give him a chance.

Now we are asking for your help.

🙏 Radar needs approximately ₱20,000 for surgery, medications, laboratory tests, and pre- and post-operative care.

Every peso matters. Every share helps. Every donation gives Radar a fighting chance to walk again and live without pain.

The dogs clearly enjoyed his company—tails were wagging, smiles were everywhere, and the shelter was filled with happiness. Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give rescued animals is simply our time and kindness.

🚨 URGENT RESCUE APPEAL 🚨

Earlier today, we received a report of a dog crawling near the SECASPI shelter. He appears to have been hit by a vehicle and was dragging himself in pain.

Despite our current financial struggles, we could not turn a blind eye to his suffering. We immediately rescued him, and he is now the third disabled dog under SECASPI's care.

Dogs in this condition require urgent veterinary attention, diagnostics, medication, and ongoing treatment. Unfortunately, we are barely surviving financially. We are already struggling to provide for the animals currently under our care, but we simply could not leave this poor dog behind.

We humbly ask for your help in funding his veterinary care and giving him a chance at a better life.

We also still have an outstanding balance of ₱4,500 with ASJP Veterinary Clinic. Due to lack of funds, we have had to postpone the much-needed veterinary visits of Spider and Bumper.

Any amount, no matter how small, will help us continue rescuing and caring for animals in need.
