๐Ÿค 4TH GOVERNORโ€™S VISIT | ROTARY CLUB OF CALAMBA CITY PREMIER

Another meaningful gathering of fellowship, service, and shared vision as we welcomed District Governor Eric Santos for our 4th Governorโ€™s Visit.

During the visit, Club President Steven Sy presented the clubโ€™s accomplishments throughout the Rotary year, highlighting the projects and initiatives that have created meaningful impact in our community. He also shared the clubโ€™s proposed projects for the remainder of his term, setting the direction for continued service and greater impact in the months ahead.

District Governor Eric Santos likewise shared his plans and priorities for this Rotary Year, providing guidance and inspiration as we continue to work together toward our shared goals.

With the leadership of our officers and the commitment of our members, we look forward to turning these plans into meaningful action and creating lasting impact through Service Above Self.

A new symbol of Service Above Self now stands proudly at Tita Chuโ€™s Restaurant, Halang, Calamba City! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

The Rotary Club of Calamba City Premier was honored to unveil and officially open our new Rotary Marker, a lasting symbol of our clubโ€™s commitment to service, fellowship, and creating a positive impact in our community.

The occasion was made even more meaningful by the presence of District Governor Eric Santos, District Deputy Governor Jay Caragao, Assistant Governor Brian Briosos, our fellow Rotarian guests, and the dedicated members of the Rotary Club of Calamba City Premier.

The ribbon cutting was led by Club President Steven Sy together with District Governor Eric Santos, marking another milestone in our journey of service and community engagement.

May this marker serve as a reminder that wherever there is a need, Rotarians are ready to serve.

HAKAB โ€™TA 2026: Celebrating Breastfeeding, Family, and Community

The Rotary Club of Calamba City Premier was honored to support HAKAB โ€™TA 2026, a meaningful celebration promoting breastfeeding, maternal health, and the importance of giving every child a healthy start in life.

In collaboration with St. John the Baptist Medical Center, Inc., the Philippine Pediatric Society, and the Calamba City Medical Society, the event brought together mothers, babies, fathers, and families for an afternoon of learning, fun, and community engagement.

The program featured breastfeeding and maternal-infant care education, family activities, and a simultaneous breastfeeding and latching activity, highlighting the shared commitment of healthcare professionals, families, and community partners to supporting breastfeeding and maternal and child health.

We are grateful to be part of this meaningful initiative and to work alongside our healthcare partners in creating a healthier and more supportive community for mothers and children.

Under the leadership of President Steven Sy, the Rotary Club of Calamba City Premier, together with the Rotary Club of Calamba City and Rotary Club of Calamba City Prime, joined hands for a community disaster response following the recent Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

The heavy rains brought disruptions to the daily lives of families in several barangays of Calamba City. In response, the participating Rotary Clubs provided food relief and meals to affected families, with the generous support of Gardenia Philippines, which provided loaves of bread for the relief effort.

This initiative reflects the spirit of Rotaryโ€™s Service Above Self, coming together, extending compassion, and taking action when our communities need us most.

Through partnership and collective service, we can bring not only food and assistance, but also comfort, hope, and solidarity to families facing difficult times.

The Rotary Club of Calamba City Premier is deeply honored to be featured in the inaugural issue of the Governor's Monthly Letter of Rotary District 3820.

This recognition reflects the dedication and collective efforts of our members, partners, volunteers, and the communities we serve. Under the inspiring leadership of our Service Impact President, Steven Sy, our club continues to create meaningful and lasting impact through projects that promote health, safety, and community development.

Empowering mothers through education and accessible prenatal care, the Rotary Club of Calamba City Premier, in collaboration with Grateful Beginnings Medical and Lying-In Clinic, successfully conducted a Free Mother's Class and Prenatal Wellness Program for 50 expectant mothers under the leadership of our ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐’๐ญ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐’๐ฒ and ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ง, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐‰๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐š๐ง ๐†๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ญ๐จ.

The program provided comprehensive prenatal services, including a Mother's Class and prenatal education, free consultations with board-certified OB-GYN ๐ƒ๐ซ๐š. ๐‰๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž ๐“๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ž ๐๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐ง, transvaginal and pelvic ultrasound examinations, blood pressure screening, anemia screening, free vitamins and essential giveaways, and snacks for all participants.

Our fellow Rotarians proudly served as volunteers throughout the event, ensuring an organized flow of activities while assisting in the initial assessment of each participant by taking blood pressure, pulse rate, and weight prior to their consultation and ultrasound.

Lighting the way toward safer and more sustainable communities, the Rotary Club of Calamba City Premier proudly donated 50 solar-powered street lights to Silangan Village, Barangay Canlubang, Calamba City.

This project was undertaken to address the lack of street lighting in the area, where roads were once very dark at night, posing safety concerns for residents, pedestrians, and motorists. With the installation of these solar street lights, the community can now enjoy brighter and safer roads while promoting the use of clean and renewable energy.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the generosity of our ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐–๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐†๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š, and under the leadership of our ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐’๐ญ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐’๐ฒ. A proud and memorable occasion for our Rotary Club as our Club President, ๐’๐ญ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐’๐ฒ, together with our fellow Rotarians, attended the District Handover and Mass Induction at Filinvest Tent.

Congratulations to ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐’๐ญ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐’๐ฒ on officially taking his oath alongside the incoming Presidents of fellow Rotary clubs across the district. We also extend our warmest congratulations to our new ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ญ ๐†๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐จ๐ซ, ๐„๐ซ๐ข๐œ ๐’๐š๐ง๐ญ๐จ๐ฌ, as he begins his year of leadership and service. Guided by this yearโ€™s Rotary theme, โ€œCreate Lasting Impact,โ€ our Rotary Club successfully conducted ๐Ž๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐“๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข in collaboration with Saint John the Baptist Medical Center, Calamba City, providing free circumcision services to 90 young patients from our community.

This meaningful project was made possible through the leadership of our ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐’๐ญ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐’๐ฒ, and the dedication of our fellow Rotarians, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‚๐ก๐ž๐ง and ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž ๐•๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ, who led the medical team alongside our volunteer nurses. We are also grateful to ๐’๐š๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐‰๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐š๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Œ๐ž๐๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ for generously allowing us to use their facilities and for supporting this outreach initiative.
