💚👓 Continuing the Celebration with Service 👓💚

Right after the meaningful wreath-laying ceremony for the Opening of Sight Saving Month 2025, the IPAO-Laguna Chapter extended its mission of eye care through an Outreach Program for the dedicated employees of Calamba City Hall.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to provide eye check-ups 💚 and prescription eyeglasses 💚 to our hardworking public servants—our way of giving back to those who tirelessly serve our community every day.

This activity reflects our shared commitment to the theme “Optometrist: At the Forefront of Eye Care – Uplifting and Guiding the Professional Practice of Optometry”

Thank you to the Calamba City Mayor Hon. Roseller H. Rizal for warmly welcoming us and to all our volunteers and partners who made this day of service possible. 💚

🌟👁️ A Heartfelt Opening Ceremony 👁️🌟

The IPAO-Laguna Chapter joyfully celebrated the Opening Ceremony of Sight Saving Month 2025 at the New City Hall Complex, Calamba, Laguna.

With the theme “Optometrist: At the Forefront of Eye Care – Uplifting and Guiding the Professional Practice of Optometry”, we embark on a month-long journey dedicated to promoting eye health 💚, raising public awareness 💚, and strengthening our commitment to professional excellence in optometry 💚👓.

We are deeply thankful and truly grateful to the National University School of Optometry, led by Dean Mary Rose Paredes, and the Lyceum of the Philippines – Cabrini College of Optometry, led by Dean Jasmine Grace de Leon-Salcedo, together with their passionate and hardworking optometry students 💚.

Your presence, energy, and dedication made this celebration even more meaningful, inspiring us all to continue serving our communities with compassion and excellence. 💚

Today, we’re reminded of how quickly life can change. One of our own—a fellow member of IPAO Laguna—recently experienced a heartbreaking loss. 💔

A fire took not only his family’s clinic, but years of hard work, precious memories, and a sense of normalcy.

In moments like these, it’s easy to feel powerless. But as a community, we are never without strength—because our strength comes from one another. 💪🏼🫶🏼

At IPAO Laguna, we don’t just share a name—we share a bond. And true to our values, we didn’t turn away from a member in need. We came together. We reached out. We offered help—not just in kind, but with compassion.

Because helping someone who’s lost their clinic, isn’t just about rebuilding walls or replacing furniture. It’s about showing them they’re not alone. It’s about giving them the courage to keep going, knowing their community stands with them.

This is what IPAO Laguna is about—Solidarity, Action, and Heart. When one of us falls, all of us rise to help them stand again.
