From Humble Beginnings to a Brighter Future

Mclei N. Peñamante, a scholar from Infanta, Quezon, began his journey with a simple yet meaningful dream—to build a better future for himself and his family and, someday, give back for all their sacrifices and support.

His journey has not always been easy. There were moments when he had to set aside personal wants and make difficult choices to continue his education. For Mclei, every sacrifice became a step toward achieving his dreams.

Mclei discovered Dualtech through his cousins. What initially caught his attention was its practical approach to education, particularly for students with limited financial resources. As he learned more about Dualtech, he realized that the program was not only focused on technical and hands-on training but also on developing discipline, good character, responsibility, and the values needed to succeed in life and in the workplace.

Through this opportunity, Mclei became a scholar of Floorstone Inc., in partnership with Fujian Xingyi Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. The scholarship has become an important part of his journey, allowing him to pursue his education at Dualtech while developing the knowledge, skills, and values he needs for his future career.

As Mclei continued his journey at Dualtech, he experienced firsthand the importance of discipline, responsibility, and perseverance. He learned that having technical skills is only one part of becoming successful. Equally important are the right attitude, commitment, humility, and willingness to continue learning.

Today, Mclei is undergoing his apprenticeship at J.VAZ.CO. Inc., a Dualtech partner company. This opportunity allows him to apply his training in an actual workplace environment. Through hands-on industry experience, he continues to strengthen his technical skills, work ethic, and professionalism while gaining a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be part of the workforce.

His journey has taught him that humble beginnings do not define the limits of his future. Instead, the challenges, opportunities, and experiences he has encountered have made him stronger, more determined, and better prepared to pursue his goals.

Building Skills, Shaping Character

Precious D. Tosino, a scholar from Cabuyao City, Laguna, and a Tech-Pro scholar of Xavier School Nuvali, shares how choosing Dualtech became a life-changing step toward her personal and professional growth. Through Dualtech's industry-based training, she acquired practical technical skills, gained valuable workplace experience, and developed the confidence needed to succeed in her chosen career. Beyond technical competence, Dualtech also helped her cultivate essential values such as discipline, responsibility, perseverance, integrity, and teamwork—qualities that continue to guide her both in the workplace and in everyday life.

One of the most meaningful parts of Precious' journey has been participating in Dualtech's Personal Development Course (PDC) and mentoring sessions. These programs have strengthened her character, developed a positive mindset, and reinforced the importance of integrity, respect, and service. Through the guidance of her mentors and values formation activities, she has also deepened her faith in God and learned life lessons that continue to shape her decisions and aspirations.

Currently undergoing her apprenticeship at Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. (IMI), Precious continues to apply the technical knowledge and values she gained at Dualtech in a real industrial environment. Each day, she learns the importance of patience, attentiveness, adaptability, and a willingness to learn. With the guidance of her supervisors and mentors, she continues to grow in confidence, competence, and professionalism as she prepares for a successful career in the industry.

Reflecting on her journey, Precious believes that every challenge presents an opportunity to learn, grow, and become stronger. She shares that every achievement is the result of hard work, determination, and the support of mentors and people who believe in her. She encourages fellow trainees to embrace every learning opportunity, seek guidance whenever needed, and continue trusting God. Ragean Sumatra, a scholar from Cansungay, Pilar, Bohol, is a testament to the power of perseverance, sacrifice, and determination. Despite the challenges of leaving her family behind to pursue her education, she remained committed to achieving her dreams and creating a better future for herself and her loved ones.

Driven by her desire to succeed, Ragean enrolled in Dualtech's Electromechanics Technology Program, where she embraced every opportunity to learn and grow. Although being away from her family was one of the greatest sacrifices she had to make, she remained focused on her goals, drawing strength from the unwavering support and inspiration of her loved ones.

During her journey at Dualtech, Ragean developed not only her technical knowledge and practical skills but also the values of discipline, responsibility, resilience, and professionalism. The program shaped her character and prepared her to face both personal and professional challenges with confidence.

Through her dedication and hard work, Ragean was accepted as an apprentice at Triton Industrial Plastic Manufacturing Company and was awarded a scholarship by the company. This opportunity has allowed her to gain valuable industry experience while continuing her education and building a strong foundation for her future career.

Madielyn Alimorom, a scholar from Biñan, Laguna, is a shining example of perseverance, determination, and unwavering faith. Inspired by the sacrifices and hard work of her parents, she remained committed to pursuing her education and building a brighter future for herself and her family.

After graduating from senior high school, Madielyn learned about Dualtech through her cousin. Although she had to wait for the next intake, she trusted in God's perfect timing and patiently awaited the opportunity. Her patience and determination were rewarded when she was accepted into Dualtech's Electromechanics Technology Program.

Through her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to her studies, Madielyn earned a scholarship from AY Foundation, Inc. This opportunity has enabled her to continue her education and prepare for a successful career.

Today, Madielyn is undergoing her apprenticeship at Toshiba Information Equipment (Phils.) Inc., where she continues to enhance her technical skills while developing discipline, professionalism, and strong work values through hands-on industry experience. Juster Dean P. Flores, a scholar from Tara, Sipocot, Camarines Sur, proves that determination, hard work, and access to opportunities can pave the way toward a brighter future.

Coming from a humble family, Juster dreamed of uplifting his family's living conditions and providing them with a better future. Despite financial challenges, he remained committed to achieving his goals and pursuing his education. Through the Handog Edukasyon Dualtech Scholarship Program of W&J Lim Foundation, Inc. and Abenson, he was given the opportunity to continue his studies and work toward his aspirations.

During his training at Dualtech, Juster successfully combined academic learning with practical skills development. The program helped him strengthen not only his technical competencies but also important values such as discipline, responsibility, perseverance, and a strong work ethic.

As part of his apprenticeship training, Juster was assigned to Affiliated Electronics Service Corporation (ASERCO), a partner company of Dualtech, where he gained valuable hands-on industry experience and further enhanced his technical skills in a professional work environment.

Through quality training, industry exposure, and the support of his scholarship sponsors, Juster has gained the knowledge, confidence, and practical experience needed to build a better future for himself and his family. Today, he is one step closer to achieving his dreams and making a positive contribution to his community.

FROM ALBAY TO OPPORTUNITY

Wendel Andrie Banta from San Andres, Sto. Domingo, Albay, dreamed of pursuing higher education after Senior High School. Although he was not accepted into the college he initially applied to, a recommendation from his aunt led him to discover Dualtech.

With the support of his mother and despite the challenges brought by her illness, Wendel remained determined to continue his education. He chose Dualtech because of its unique learning approach that combines classroom instruction with hands-on technical training, allowing students to develop practical skills that prepare them for real-world careers.

Through the generous support of PEACE USA, Wendel was able to pursue his studies and focus on achieving his goals. When his mother lost her job, he became even more motivated to succeed and lessen the financial burden on his family.

Today, Wendel is undergoing his apprenticeship training at TRP Inc., one of Dualtech’s partner companies. He is grateful for the guidance of his mentors and colleagues who helped him adapt to a new work environment. What once seemed like a challenge has become an opportunity for growth, learning, and building meaningful relationships.
