๐๐ก ๐ฃ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ | From February to April 2026, Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) - Calabanga College of Education joyfully hosted its 4th Literary Festival themed "Room to Dream." Over these months, students, faculty, and literary enthusiasts engaged in a series of inspiring activities, workshops, and competitions designed to celebrate the power of words, creativity, and imagination. This extended celebration provided a platform for aspiring writers, poets, storytellers, and literature lovers to showcase their talents, exchange ideas, and foster a vibrant community rooted in free thought and artistic expression.
The festival reached its grand conclusion with a heartfelt awarding ceremony held on April 30, 2026. This special event marked the culmination of months of dedication, hard work, and passion, as we recognized the outstanding achievements and creative works of our talented participants. It was a day filled with pride, joy, and inspiration, celebrating the spirit of literary excellence among our students and community.
The success of this festival was made possible through the invaluable support and leadership of our proponents, including EDWIN S. BREVA, JR., BSE Chair; RICHARD R. PARATO, Assistant Professor III; MARLENE A. RAMOS, Assistant Professor I; MONICA O. TIANELA, Instructor; CYNTHIA CODERIS, Assistant Professor III; DR. DOUGLAS ANGEL A. ARAGON II, Associate Professor V; AURORA DS. BESMONTE, Ed.D, Associate Professor V; NOEL M. CELESTE, Ed.D, Associate Professor V; and ERNESTO D. DOLOSO, JR., Ph.D, our Campus Administrator. Their guidance, vision, and unwavering support laid the foundation for a successful celebration of literature and creativity.
We are also deeply grateful for the presence and support of our distinguished Program Head, Sir Jerome Hipolito, whose exemplary leadership and unwavering support provided the guiding vision for this festival.
Our sincere appreciation extends to our partner organizations and offices whose support and collaboration made this festival possible. The CBSUA English Educators Hub, CBSUA Teacher-Education Students' Society, The Writers Project, Pintados, the Collaborating Agencies: PhilWiki community with the presence of Mr. Irvin P. Sto. Tomas played a crucial role in providing resources, knowledge, and expertise. The Local Government Unit of Calabanga and the Calabanga Tourism and Cultural Promotions Office also extended their support, helping us promote local culture and talents throughout the festival.
