𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗥 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 - This simple gesture reflects our commitment to empowering, appreciating, and celebrating the talents, confidence, and potential of the youth in our community. With this, Gawad Kalinga Cagwait vested 3 Minor Awards in support of the Linggo ng Kabataan (LNK) 2026 during the Search for Mr. and Ms. LNK 2026, the highlights of LNK 2026 initiated by the SK Federation of Cagwait.

This award is presented to the youth candidate who embodies the true spirit of Gawad Kalinga— 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Being an official member of the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) of LGU Cagwait and as one of the guiding and serving bodies to the youth, Gawad Kalinga Cagwait is proud to vest the 𝐌𝐫. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐆𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 to the upcoming Search for Mr. and Ms. LNK Cagwait 2026.

This award is in support to the Cagwaitnon youth who best represents the GK morals and values. On behalf of the women, men, children, the rainbow community, the youth, livestock, farmers, fisherfolk, businessmen, the elderlies and all the sectors of our community, we, the Gawad Kalinga of Cagwait stand as the VOICE of the many.

We greatly appreciate and recognize the steps towards transparency our LGU has consistently implemented. By letting our CSOs participate and be actively present during plannings like these, we can totally maximize the resources that comes from the ideas and experiences that sprung from the grassroots.

2027 is now set. Padayon LGU Cagwait.

KAAYOHAN SA PANAGHIUSA: Para sa Bag-ong Daycare Center sa KM 7, Tubo-Tubo! 💙

Isang malaking pasasalamat at pagkilala sa collaborative effort ng mga stakeholders ng komunidad na naging daan upang maisakatuparan ang pangangailangan para sa maayos na operasyon ng bagong Daycare Center sa KM 7, Tubo-Tubo, Cagwait, Surigao del Sur.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat kina Mayor Glenn Batiancila at Vice Mayor Hon. Melchie Tuscano sa kanilang buong pusong suporta at agarang pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng ating komunidad. 🙏

Maraming salamat din sa Municipal Social and Welfare Development (MSWD) Office, sa pangunguna ni Ma’am Iluminada Corvera, kasama si Local Youth Development Officer (LYDO) Ma’am Yrica Colongan, at sa Civil Society Organization (CSO) Office, sa pangunguna ng ating Local CSO Desk Officer Ma’am Vanessa Cemanes, sa kanilang mahalagang ambag at koordinasyon upang maisakatuparan ang proyektong ito.

Ang bagong daycare center ay hindi lamang isang silid —ito ay simbolo ng pagkakaisa, malasakit, at sama-samang pagkilos para sa kinabukasan ng ating mga kabataan. 👧👦❤️ Sana naway ma-maintain at mas maimprove pa ang daycare center na ito. Kapag ang bawat sektor ay nagtutulungan, mas maraming pangarap ang nagiging realidad. Bayanihan para sa mga bata, bayanihan para sa komunidad! 🇵🇭

A Daycare Center Project of Gawad Kalinga

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa Gawad Kalinga sa napakahalagang Daycare Center Project na ipinagkaloob para sa mga bata ng Kilometro Siete, Sitio Maribuhok, Brgy. Tubo-Tubo, Lungsod ng Cagwait, Probinsya ng Surigao del Sur. ❤️

Ang proyektong ito ay hindi lamang isang gusali, kundi isang tahanan ng pagkatuto, pangarap, at pag-asa para sa ating mga kabataan. Malaking tulong ito upang magkaroon sila ng mas maayos, ligtas, at magandang lugar para sa kanilang pag-aaral at paglaki.

Maraming salamat, Gawad Kalinga, sa patuloy na pag-abot ng kamay at pagbibigay ng tunay na malasakit sa ating mga komunidad. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang kinabukasan ng ating mga kabataan! 🙏💚

Third-Party Monitoring: Week 1 Culmination

We thank every implementing agency and all the barangays for the successful facilitation of this year’s monitoring for CLGU/ MLGU implemented projects.

Gawad Kalinga extends our gratitude to the warm welcome received by the monitoring teams from the project beneficiaries and for sincerely answering the interviews that aim to dig credibility and integrity.
