Today, June 13, 2026, JCI Bai Lawanen will conduct 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗺: 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝟮 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗝𝗠𝗣 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗫, 𝗟𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗮, 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗼.

This initiative aims to bring encouragement, inspiration, and meaningful engagement to 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 (𝗣𝗗𝗟𝘀), reminding them that despite life's challenges, hope, dignity, and transformation remain within reach.

Today, JCI Philippines joins the nation in honoring the 𝟏𝟐𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲. 🇵🇭

Our freedom is a gift born from the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of those who came before us. Their history reminds us that independence is not only something we celebrate but also something we protect, strengthen, and pass on.

Every project is an opportunity to serve, learn, and create meaningful impact. On June 6, 2026, members of JCI Bai Lawanen proudly took part in 𝗕𝗔𝗜𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡 with the theme:

“𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗶, 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀”

Held in 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮, 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, the activity celebrated the rich culture, traditions, and heritage of the 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲, while highlighting the vital role of women in preserving cultural identity and building sustainable communities.

The event provided an avenue for cultural appreciation, meaningful engagement, and shared learning between community members and participants. It served as a reminder that empowering women and honoring indigenous heritage go hand in hand in creating a more inclusive and sustainable future.

On 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗝𝗖𝗜 𝗕𝗮𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻 successfully conducted 𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗔𝗜: 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝟮, bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community through a comprehensive medical mission in Cagayan de Oro City.

The activity provided general medical consultations, eye check-ups, and free reading glasses, ensuring that beneficiaries received much-needed healthcare support and access to basic medical services.

IN PHOTOS || The 8th Air Reserve Center, Air Force Reserve Command, in partnership with Junior Chamber International Bai Lawanen Incorporated and Rotaract Club of Carmen Valley, conducted a Peace and Development Forum through awareness on CTG recruitment and the West Philippine Sea “Mulat” campaign via Zoom VTC.

The activity aims to enhance public awareness on the deceptive recruitment strategies of Communist Terrorist Groups (CTG), strengthen understanding of national security concerns related to the West Philippine Sea, and promote peace, patriotism, and civic responsibility among participants. It further seeks to empower the youth and community members to become vigilant against misinformation and radicalization while fostering collaboration among partner organizations in support of peace and development initiatives.

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁

Creativity met patriotism as young minds from Sitio Balongkot, Brgy. Dansolihon, Cagayan de Oro City showcased their talents and expressed their understanding of the West Philippine Sea through art during the 𝗠𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧: 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 held on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Through colors, imagination, and powerful messages, participants demonstrated awareness of the importance of protecting our maritime heritage, fostering national pride, and promoting responsible citizenship among the youth.

This initiative serves as a platform to educate, inspire, and empower young Filipinos to become informed advocates for our nation's sovereignty and natural resources.

On 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗝𝗖𝗜 𝗕𝗮𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻 successfully implemented Bags of Hope in Sitio Balongkot, Brgy. Dansolihon, Cagayan de Oro City, bringing hope and educational support to 100 children through the distribution of school bags and learning essentials.
