Butuan City — In a strong display of unity and collaboration, 𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐘 𝐈𝐧𝐜. 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Agusan del Norte under provincial governor 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐚. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐌. 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞, the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, and the Provincial Youth Development Council (PYDC) through 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐥𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐲 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬, successfully conducted 𝐔𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍: 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 on May 4, 2026 at the Provincial Training Center, Capitol Compound.
The activity convened a wide range of stakeholders from national government agencies, academic institutions, youth organizations, and security sectors. Among those present were the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃) 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝) 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞, partner schools including 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐠𝐞𝐬 (𝐍𝐀𝐂), 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐜. (𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐈), 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐜. (𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐈), 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐂𝐒𝐔), 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐒𝐉𝐈𝐓), as well as youth groups such as 𝐊𝐊𝐃𝐀𝐓 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧, 𝐊𝐊𝐃𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐘𝐃𝐂. Meanwhile, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation Presidents from the 11 municipalities of Agusan del Norte also participated, led by Provincial SK Federation President 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐆𝐞𝐚 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐲 𝐆𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧.
The opening program featured the Provincial Committee Chair on Peace and Order 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐑𝐞𝐲 𝐆. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐲 as guest speaker, who emphasized the importance of collective action in maintaining peace and order in the province. Representatives from the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 (𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀-13) and various units of the Philippine Army—including the 402𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐞, 401𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐞, 23𝐫𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧, 29𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧, 4𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐌𝐎 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 2003𝐫𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐞 also supported the activity.
Anchored on the principles of unity, cooperation, and shared responsibility, “𝐔𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍” aimed to strengthen linkages among stakeholders through meaningful engagement, dialogue, and collaboration in peacebuilding. The consultation served as a platform to deepen awareness of peace and security concerns while fostering a shared commitment to building resilient and harmonious communities.
Key activities included the introduction of POINTY Inc. delivered by the Board of Trustees Chairperson 𝐆𝐥𝐲𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐀. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐨, followed by a Peace Situation Awareness briefing from the 23rd and 29th Infantry Battalions. Participants also engaged in a symposium titled “𝑫𝒓𝒂𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑹𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒎” delivered by the Legal Affairs Head of Buklod Kapayapaan Foundation Federation Inc. 𝑴𝒔. 𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑱𝒂𝒏𝒆 𝑹𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒔, and a thought-provoking session, “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙙𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙝,” presented by 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐦 𝐒𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨.
A highlight of the program was the 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, symbolizing a unified stand among stakeholders. The call to action for the signing was led by 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐁. 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐨, 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐘 𝐈𝐧𝐜. 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, reinforcing the shared responsibility of all sectors in protecting the youth from misinformation and radicalization.
Through this initiative, POINTY Inc. Agusan del Norte Chapter and its partners reaffirm their commitment to empowering communities, strengthening partnerships, and promoting long-term peace and development in the province.
