Our hearts are full as we reflect on the success of Tungha sa Kagab-hion: Agriskwela Sessions for Night School Program. Their commitment to the Night School Program learners has been a true testament to the power of community and faith in action.

Beyond the organization, this journey was fueled by the kindness of 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 who didn't just give their resources, but also their precious time. To every sponsor who contributed and every volunteer who showed up with a heart to serve—thank you. Your contributions allowed us to provide more than just lessons; you helped us provide tools for livelihood and seeds of hope for a brighter future. We are honored to have stood alongside such dedicated people who believe in the importance of agriculture and the potential of every learner. This project is a win for us all! 🌜🌱🙏

We have finally reached the finish line! 𝘿𝙖𝙮 3 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙗-𝙝𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 concluded last April 29, 2026, at CH202, marking the end of an incredible journey. Our final stretch began with a deep dive into the Animal Science Module, led by 3rd-year major Christelle Villanueva, followed by a heartwarming presentation where our learners showcased everything they’ve accomplished—from the technical ABE activities and seed growing to their delicious food processing creations. It was a joy to hear them sum up their experiences, concluding that the sessions were not only educational but truly fun. To honor their hard work, we distributed small tokens from the 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐨𝐭𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 (𝐁𝐊𝐅𝐈) - 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐨, 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to recognize their active engagement and dedication.
This project’s success would not have been possible without the immense support of many hearts. We extend our deepest gratitude to our learners, our tireless volunteers, and Ms. Natalie Sta. Elena for her unending cooperation and guidance. A special salute goes to the volunteers under the 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝘾𝙤-𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 who poured their hearts into serving the community—striving to bring back the vital importance of agriculture through practical and insightful activities. As we close this chapter, we carry with us the lessons learned and the bonds formed. With that, we officially conclude our Tungha sa Kagab-hion: Agriskwela Sessions with the Night School Program. 🌜🌱🙏

Day 2 of Tungha sa Kagab-hion: Agriskwela Sessions was a full-blown culinary adventure last April 27, 2026! We took our learners to the Food Technology Center at the Old XUGS Macasandig for a hands-on Food Processing Activity that was as productive as it was lively. Under the expert guidance of 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐋𝐚𝐛 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚, 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐏𝐀𝐅𝐓-𝐄𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐓 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐳 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐳 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞, our learners successfully mastered not just one, but three delicious recipes: 𝙋𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙩 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚, 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙤 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝘽𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙖 𝘾𝙪𝙥𝙘𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨.
The atmosphere was filled with fun and a healthy dose of goofiness, but the heart of this activity remained focused on empowerment. By teaching these skills, we aim to ensure that our learners can replicate these products right in their own kitchens, providing them with a sustainable livelihood to help make ends meet. It was a day of high energy and practical learning that truly showcased the spirit of the Night School Program. That’s all for now—get ready and see you for Day 3, our culminating day! 🍟🥧

In the face of crisis, all collars, regardless of color, share the same fight.

Across calm fields, restless seas, bustling streets, and structured offices, the silent yet steadfast endurance of the Filipino working class is met with growing uncertainty, as ongoing economic shocks brought about by the persisting Middle East conflict widen the gap between wages and the cost of living. In a country marked by unresolved, intergenerational labor struggles, the increasing pressure falls upon the backbone of the nation’s economy in their chase for survival and stability.

During these times, they do not seek mere relief but rather the assurance that the government stands with them in the fight and drives forward systemic action that honors their labor.

May this day be more than a commemoration of the historic perseverance and resilience of the Filipino labor force but instead serve as a call to uplift the very hands that sustain the nation as we advocate for the security of their future and livelihood.

Mabuhay ang mga manggagawang Pilipino!

The 𝘿𝙖𝙮 1 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙗-𝙝𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 proved that the spirit of our Night School Program shines just as bright in the morning! We officially opened the day with a warm and inspiring message from our Project Head, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐫, Deputy Prime Minister, who set the stage for this ambitious student-led initiative.
The session proper began with the Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering Module, facilitated by first-year students 𝐉𝐂 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐧, who shared impressive insights into modern agricultural technology. This was followed by an in-depth look at the Crop Science Module, led by 4th-year Crop Science major 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚, whose expertise provided a masterclass in plant science. To conclude our first morning of sessions, we dove into the world of commerce with the Agribusiness Module, headed by 𝐋𝐞𝐱 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐛𝐭𝐚𝐧 and spearheaded by 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐳𝐨. It was a productive start to our journey of growth and leadership. That’s all for Day 1—𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🍟🥧
