Rotaract Club of Carmen Valley

Rotaract Club of Carmen Valley Service oriented group comprised of highly motivated individuals that are solely dedicated to shape the youth and for the improvement of the community.

Rotaract Club of Carmen Valley (RAC-CV) District 3870 is a service oriented group comprised of highly motivated individuals with a purpose of jointly bringing solely dedicated volunteers and professional leaders who are committed to endow humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, help build goodwill and peace that heartens to augment fellowship and educational opport

unities for the development of global community. It is a secular organization open to all individuals regardless of race, color, creed, gender, or political preference. The organization began in September 21, 2009, formed as a service club by an Engineer named Homer Naval with thirty members on its team. He was the Past President of RAC-CV mother’s club, Rotary Club of Carmen Valley. Sealed with passion in their work, RAC-CV was created as its sister club under the leadership of Mr. Peter Angelo Naval, a registered nurse, son of the founder. Moreover, as a testimony of their distinct service, they have been awarded as the Most Outstanding Club Project – Community Service Project last May 1, 2010 in the Rotary District Conference held at Cagayan de Oro City. As a young organization, the RAC-CV have proven themselves as a ‘Rotary in Action’ who ‘walk their talk’ that continues to serve and assist the needs of the community emphasizing to humanity that the foundation of leadership is not power over authority, but SERVICE. With the help of other sectors, this philosophy has made them stronger through the years. Thus, the Rotaract Pathfinders is on a new road towards a more demanding but challenging Rotaract journey that persist in sharing changes for a better community.

Stronger Together: Celebrating the Twinning Ceremony with JCI Bai Lawanen

A meaningful milestone was marked as the Rotaract Club of Carmen Valley proudly took part in the Twinning Ceremony with JCI Bai Lawanen, signifying not just a partnership, but a shared commitment to service, leadership, and community impact.

The ceremony symbolized the coming together of two dynamic organizations, united by a common vision of empowering communities and creating sustainable change. More than a formal alliance, the twinning represents a bridge—connecting ideas, resources, and passions to amplify the reach and effectiveness of future projects.

Through this partnership, both organizations look forward to collaborating on initiatives that promote leadership development, community service, and youth empowerment. With Rotaract’s dedication to service and JCI’s strong leadership-driven approach, the synergy promises innovative and impactful programs that will benefit not only their members but also the communities they serve.

The event itself was filled with warmth and camaraderie, as members from both groups exchanged stories, aspirations, and a renewed sense of purpose. It was a celebration of unity—where connections were deepened, and a shared journey officially began.

As the Rotaract Club of Carmen Valley and JCI Bai Lawanen move forward hand in hand, this twinning stands as a testament that when organizations collaborate, the impact grows stronger, the reach becomes wider, and the mission becomes even more meaningful.

Indeed, this is just the beginning of a partnership built on trust, service, and the belief that together, we can achieve more.

The spirit of fellowship through service came alive as Rotaractors from across the region gathered for the Pilipinas Rotaract Sportsfest – Mindanao Leg, a celebration of camaraderie, healthy competition, and shared purpose. Among the participating clubs, the Rotaract Club of Carmen Valley stood out with an exceptional performance—particularly in badminton.

In the mixed doubles category, Carmen Valley delivered a remarkable clean sweep of the podium. Claiming the Gold Medal were PP Jake Legaspi and Rtr. Dijay, whose teamwork and precision dominated the court. The Silver Medal went to Rtr. Ana and Rtr. Bacx, showcasing grit and determination in every rally. Completing the sweep, PN Mary Jane partnered with Pres. Bernard of RAC-Kalayaan CDO to secure the Bronze Medal, proving that sportsmanship and collaboration extend beyond club boundaries.

Beyond badminton, the event also featured pickleball and Mobile Legends, giving participants a diverse platform to compete, connect, and unwind. Whether on the court or in the digital arena, Rotaractors displayed not only skill but also unity and enthusiasm.

More than just a sports competition, the event was a vibrant reminder that Rotaract is built on meaningful connections. Laughter echoed across venues, friendships were strengthened, and new bonds were formed—truly embodying the essence of fellowship.

The success of the event would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the host club, whose seamless organization and warm hospitality ensured an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

As the games concluded, one thing was clear: while medals were won, it was the shared moments, sportsmanship, and unity that truly defined the victory. Congratulations to all participants, and especially to the Rotaract Club of Carmen Valley, for bringing pride and excellence to the Sportsfest.

He is not here—He has risen!
Today, we celebrate the victory of life over death, hope over despair, and light over darkness.

May the resurrection remind us that new beginnings are always possible, and that through faith and service, we can inspire transformation in the lives of others.

As one Rotaract family, let us rise with renewed purpose—ready to serve, to lead, and to make a difference.

In the stillness of Black Saturday, we are reminded that even in silence, hope is never lost.
This sacred pause teaches us patience, faith, and trust in what is yet to come.

As we reflect, may we find peace in the waiting and strength in knowing that light follows even the darkest moments.

As Rotaractors, may we continue to serve quietly but meaningfully—bringing hope where it is needed most.

Today, we remember a sacrifice that calls us to serve with greater purpose.

This Good Friday, may we reflect not only in silence, but in action—choosing compassion, extending kindness, and lifting others as we move forward.

As one in service, may we continue to Unite for Good, carrying love where it is needed most.

“Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit.” – Luke 23:46

This journey reminded me that leadership is never a solo act—it is a collective effort. When we choose to understand, support, and walk together despite differences, we truly live the spirit of Unite for Good.

Because when hearts unite in service, even the smallest actions can create meaningful change.

Flushing Hope, Restoring Dignity: Project FLUSH for Healthier Communities

In celebration of World Rotaract Week, the Rotaract Club carried out Project FLUSH, a meaningful initiative that highlights the importance of proper sanitation and dignity in every home. Through this project, 20 toilet bowls with pails and dippers were distributed to households in need—15 families in Barangay Mambuaya and 5 families in Barangay Dansolihon—bringing communities one step closer to achieving Zero Open Pit and safer sanitation practices.

Implemented in partnership with JCI Bai Lawanen, Project FLUSH demonstrates how collaboration between organizations can create lasting impact. While the Rotaractors and partners provided the toilet bowls and essential materials, the barangay local governments generously committed to supply the sand and cement, ensuring that each household can properly install their sanitary toilets.

More than simply providing facilities, Project FLUSH represents a shared commitment to health, dignity, and sustainable community development. With every toilet installed, families gain not only improved sanitation but also renewed hope for a cleaner and healthier environment.

As Rotaractors celebrate a week dedicated to service and fellowship, Project FLUSH stands as a reminder that even the simplest acts of service can transform lives—one household, one community, and one flush at a time.
