The seminar on Designing Research for Scopus Publication emphasized aligning studies with the UN Sustainable Development Goals to ensure global relevance and impact. It highlighted the importance of building competence in manuscript preparation tailored to international journal requirements, with a focus on clarity, rigor, and scholarly contribution. Participants were guided on meeting the expectations of Scopus editors and reviewers by adhering to methodological soundness, ethical standards, and proper formatting. Finally, the seminar underscored the value of strategic collaboration and co-authorship across institutions and countries to strengthen research visibility and foster international partnerships.

Objectives:
1. To design research relevant to sustainable development goal of UN for global impact;
2. To develop competence in preparing manuscripts for international journals;
3. To meet the standards of Scopus editors and reviewers; and
4. To strategize international research collaboration and co-authorship.

The Training Workshop on Getting Accepted in High-Impact Journals with AI-Assisted Research was successfully held from October 27-29, 2025, at the Royal Parc Hotels and Resorts, Inc., in scenic Tagaytay City, Philippines. The event, led by the esteemed Dr. Genaro V. Japos, Founder/President of the Asean Research Organization, provided participants with critical, advanced skills on leveraging Artificial Intelligence to enhance the quality and impact of a scholarly work.
The workshop drew significant attendance from leading universities and colleges such as the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies, Assumption College of Davao, Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, Franciscan College of the Immaculate Conception, Guang Ming College/De La Salle University, Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines - International School of Asia and the Pacific, Mindanao State University - General Santos, National University - Manila, New Era University, Northwest Samar State University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Rizal Technological University, Samar State University, STI West Negros University, University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos, Inc., and the University of the Philippines - Diliman.

The Training Workshop on Research Diagnostics: Advanced Skills for Research Paneling, Advising & Publishing concluded successfully on September 4, 2025. This significant event, held at The Hotel Elizabeth, Baguio City, was led by the distinguished Dr. Genaro V. Japos, Founder of the Asean Research Organization.

Participants gained advanced skills vital for guiding and evaluating scholarly work, strengthening their expertise in research advising, paneling, and publishing. The workshop provided a crucial platform for knowledge exchange and professional growth, reinforcing our collective commitment to elevating the quality of research in the academic community.

This training explores how researchers can strategically harness AI tools to enhance their chances of publishing in high-impact journals. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what top-tier journals expect, and how AI can support key stages of the research process—from literature review and data analysis to writing and revision. Through practical sessions on prompt engineering, ethical AI use, and journal targeting, the training equips scholars with actionable techniques to improve manuscript quality, respond effectively to peer reviews, and navigate the evolving landscape of scholarly publishing.

The objectives are the following:
1. Identify key characteristics of high-impact journals and the criteria they use to evaluate submissions;
2. Explore how AI can assist in literature review, data analysis, writing, and citation management to strengthen research quality;
3. Recognize the boundaries of AI assistance in scholarly work, including authorship, plagiarism, and transparency; and
4. Learn how to tailor manuscripts for specific journals, respond to reviewer feedback, and use AI to refine revisions effectively.
