. The rest of the kids that we extend help is for feeding program. The purpose of having just 2 children is for us to be able to provide a one on one attention on each of their needs. I Have no volunteer nor social workers who can assist me for now having two kids gave me time to focus on what this two girls needs. To also understand the concept of having a shelter not just helping out. Like for example, I personally go through Parent Teacher Conference, Meetings and Even Social or Cultural Events. As well as Helping them with their projects and assignments in school. Cultivating their minds in Christ to be good citizen of this country and to also make a difference in other people’s lives. I believe kids motivation to keep going is to know that they have a support system. Knowing that you as an elder who cares and loves them show that you are there for them when they need you. Wells’ Shelter cares and wants to prove that we can do it. We can show that this system works and we can make a difference in this children’s lives. As the school year end on March Well’s Shelter are welcoming their second batch of children both boys and girls and we believe that we can change those children lives as we have with Jen and Milena. The shelter wants to provide their physical needs of clothing, slippers, shoes,
sanitation kits and a place to sleep. As well as medical attention if they
got sick and for this summer a
dental check up. Most of the children that we help are infested by lice,
in Well’s Shelter we want to be able to provide quarterly check up for lice control. Aside from the material supplies, that we can offer
we constantly work on their personality. Teaching them how to say Grace, bible readings, Greetings,
To show Gratitude and be Respectful to Elders. Above All Being Humble
And Loving God first.
