The Rotary Club of East CDO joins the global call to end polio. 💪🌍

We refurbished an old End Polio Now tarpaulin along Bulua Road, Cagayan de Oro, and installed a new one at the Opol–Bulua Diversion Road — a reminder of our ongoing commitment to a polio-free world.

“World Polio Day is a time for Rotary members, public health advocates, and all who want a world free from polio to come together, recognize our progress in the fight to end polio, and talk about the actions we need to take in order to end polio for good.” — endpolio.org

YAKAP: Advancing the Mental Health and Well-being of Mothers and Children
Held on July 14, 2025 at the Regional Haven for Women, this meaningful initiative—in collaboration with CSWD and DSWD Region 10—focused on raising awareness and strengthening support systems for women and children.

The session covered general mental health and wellness, emphasizing the value of care, compassion, and education in creating nurturing spaces where both generations can thrive.

Our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Mary Maureen Paasa-Anino, Psychoeducation Section Head of the CSWD Psychosocial Unit, for her expertise and dedication to mental wellness.

This project is aligned with Rotary’s Areas of Focus on Maternal and Child Health and Basic Education and Literacy—because healthier minds build healthier communities. 💚👩‍👧‍👦📘

What a way to kick off the Rotary Year!

Our Brigada Eskwela Program, in partnership with CardMasters CDO, at Kalilangan Elementary School last July 1, 2025, brought smiles and support to 130 students through the distribution of school supplies, bags, and tumblers.

This initiative aligns with one of Rotary’s key Areas of Focus—Basic Education and Literacy—as we strive to empower young minds with the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Together, we’re helping build brighter futures—one student at a time. 💛📚🎒

A beautiful beginning to a brand new Rotary year!

The 54th Handover and Induction Ceremony of the Rotary Club of East CDO was a night of elegance, gratitude, and unity. Together, we celebrated not just the start of a new term, but the strong bond and shared purpose that bring us all together as Rotarians.

Big thanks to Jade Photos II for the gorgeous snaps — and to everyone who came, showed up in style, and made the night truly special.

Here's to a meaningful Rotary year ahead! 💙✨
