We're actually not done yet! But we need someone to keep this story going!
If you've been organizing events, leading teams, or just the person people naturally follow—this is your sign. We're looking for someone who can run the ship: handle events, coordinate people, make decisions, and keep AWS Cloud Club alive and kicking. 🚀
MUST BE: 🎓

A bona-fide student of USTP Cagayan de Oro

MUST HAVE: ✅

Experience planning & running events (clubs, workshops, hackathons)
Comfortable leading teams & coordinating people
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Actively learning tech (any kind)
Ready to commit for at least 1 academic year

NICE TO HAVE: 🌟

Preferably a 2nd or 3rd year student (any level welcome!)
Knowledge or experience in AWS solutions and technologies
Active in various tech events or mobilizing them
Experience in existing clubs or organizations

This announcement is long overdue, but I want to officially confirm that the AWS Cloud Clubs - USTP ceased operations some time ago. You may have wondered why it's been limited to podcasts, and barely any events are running.

We launched with a strong vision: making technology accessible and fun using AWS. However, the club ran into major logistical and operational challenges, and I ultimately had to step back. Since no one could take the lead, we made the difficult decision to close the club's doors for the time being.

Despite the difficulties, I am proud of the successes we had and the curiosity we sparked on campus. To the dedicated officers who had my back over the last two years, thank you.

As I prepare to graduate and "sunset" my time as a student, I sincerely hope a new leader will step up to revive this community and make it their own. I would be glad to connect with anyone interested in taking on this opportunity.
