As we mark the 37th White Cane Safety Day Celebration in 2026, we honor the strength, resilience, and unity of our community. Our deepest gratitude goes to Mayor Rolando ‘KLAREX’ A. Uy for his steadfast leadership, and to our partner agencies DENR, DSWD, and DPWH whose tireless efforts continue to uplift our city. We also recognize the dedication of the CSWD staff led by Ma’am Anecia Tongson, whose compassion strengthens our social welfare programs, and Mrs. Maria Liza Corpuz, Head of PDAO, whose advocacy empowers our PWD community.
Special thanks to Barangay 14 Councils headed by Hon. Fransisco Laihee, together with the SK Officials, for their assistance and unwavering support. Lastly, to Limketkai Center for free usage of the venue and led wall. This celebration is not only a reminder of the rights and dignity of persons with visual impairment, but also a testament to the bayanihan spirit that drives us forward. Together, we build a safer, stronger, and more inclusive future for all.
