Xavier University - Association of the College of Engineering Students One Tribe One Goal. Our Time Is Now. This is the Official page of the XU - Association of the College of Engineering Students.

Established in 1981, the Xavier University - Association of the College of Engineering Students (XU-ACES) is the governing student council for the Xavier Ateneo College of Engineering. We aim to be recognized as a prime mover geared towards developing nationally competent and socially aware Engineering students leaders with character and excellence. We provide student representation for both insid

e and outside the University - expanding our reach nationwide and worldwide to meet our vision by the 50th year of our founding. Recognized as the iconic Warrior Tribe in Xavier Ateneo, we are a community known to be brave and strong, consisting of Engineering students geared to bringing innovation, integrity, and sustainability to the country and to the world. From its publication committee arm, The Warrior, to its social mission arm, Be A Warrior, the XU-ACES brings a wide array of opportunities for its constituents to apply their strengths, recognize their weaknesses, and learn new skills for their overall growth as excellent and industry-ready future Engineers.

Today, we celebrate not only an incredible educator, but also a mentor who has always been a guiding light to the ACES family.

As our moderator, your patience, wisdom, and unwavering support have helped shape not only the way we learn, but the way we lead, serve, and grow as future engineers. Thank you for believing in us, guiding us through every challenge, and reminding us that engineering is made greater by the people we choose to become.

May your passion continue to light the way for generations of engineers to come. Here’s to another year of purpose, joy, and meaningful journeys!

Happy birthday, Ma’am Lolit! 🎂

OPEN TO ALL: Lecture on Mathematical Optimization

The Xavier University College of Engineering invites the entire XU community to a special lecture featuring Dr. Bonn Seranilla on “On the Applications of Mathematical Optimization to Engineering Problems,” happening on August 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM at E403, COE Building.

Discover how mathematical optimization can help address complex, real-world engineering challenges and support better decision-making under uncertainty. Through practical examples, the talk will highlight how optimization models and algorithms can help engineers design more efficient, resilient, and sustainable systems.

Join us to learn, engage, and explore the applications of mathematical optimization in engineering and beyond.

Feel free to share this invitation with fellow students, faculty, staff, and colleagues. Everyone is welcome!
