About Us
ROTA Philippines Incorporated is a non-profit Non-Government Organization (NGO) composed of mountaineers and volunteers who promote environmental protection and preservation, advocates for health and education for indigenous children – primarily in Northern Mindanao, and initiates fundraising for children with medical needs and for disaster response. n to have: a high sense of character and a solid understanding of environmental protection and conservation; and access to quality basic education. MISSION
We aim to form a community composed of volunteers who: instill values on environmental preservation; supplement initiatives and offer innovations on the primary education of Indigenous (Lumad) kids in Northern Mindanao. GOALS
ROTA outlines its goals based on its 4 pillars:
Rehabilitation,
• Promotes “nature” programs like reforestation and solid waste management to uplift both the quality of the environment and the quality of life in communities. Outreach,
•Encompasses the “nurture” programs – Supplementing Topnotch Attendance Year-round (STAY), with the specific addition of Hand-washing Tippy Tap Project (HTTP);
Team Management,
•Includes volunteer orientation, workshops, and team building to ensure our mountaineers/volunteers can effectively work together and meet high standards on and off elevations;
Assistance,
•Covers both relief operations and charity fundraisers as forms of direct relief to where help is most needed. CORE VALUES

The club has a lively atmosphere with plenty of sharp witted banter flying about, although it would be fair to warn you that the jokes are terrible! It can be a good way to meet like minded people and members of the club do organize climbing holidays and trips amongst themselves in addition to the monthly club meets. Basic Info:
