What is Occupational Health (OH)?
Occupational health (OH) refers to an area of work in public health to promote and maintain the highest degree of physical, mental, and social well-being of employees/workers in all occupations.

1. OH Physician
Definition: A licensed medical doctor who diagnoses and treats occupational diseases, work-related illnesses, and injuries of employees/workers, conducts fitness-for-work physical examinations, is licensed to practice medicine, and has BOSH training for physicians by an accredited training organization or recognized institutions.

The Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) will conduct a Face-to-Face “𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩” from 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟔-𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐘 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲.

The training workshop aims to provide knowledge and skills in assessing the effectiveness of ventilation systems through an in-depth discussion on the various types and uses of industrial ventilation, its components, and the basic design for controlling hazards, including the evaluation of its efficiency. The target participants are engineering professionals, industrial hygienists, and safety officers who are engaged in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of ventilation systems.

Potential participants must have attended the 40-hr. Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training or Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Training as a prerequisite to the course.

The training fee is 𝐏𝐡𝐩 𝟑,𝟓𝟎𝟎.𝟎𝟎 per participant to cover the cost of the training kit and meals.
