𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦: The Forerunners Faith Gathering was held at the Moveable Classrooms, bringing together students in prayer, worship, and fellowship as part of the ongoing USTP WoW 2026 interfaith celebration.

As Trailblazers begin a new academic journey, the gathering served as a simple yet meaningful reminder to nurture not only the mind but also the heart and spirit. It became a moment of reflection, encouragement, and unity among students from different colleges and organizations.

As the morning concluded with everyone raising their voices together in the Forerunners’ chant: “USTP Forerunners, change the campus, change the world,” this reflected the group’s shared hope of becoming a positive influence within the university and in the communities they will continue to serve.

Just as a ship finds strength through every wave, we believe no one should have to face life’s oceans by themselves. There will be storms, uncertainties, and days that feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to row alone.

Maybe your reality today is that your boat feels small. Maybe you feel unprepared, unnoticed, or uncertain of what's ahead. But your size does not determine your destiny. There is a greater potential within you, one that is often revealed and unleashed only after you've overcome the storms.

As you begin your journey, let us row with you. Let us walk alongside you, pray with you, encourage you, and point you to 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺. We, Forerunners, will row with you through every season.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗔 (Building Accountability and Nurturing Growth through Kinship and Accompaniment) a comprehensive, holistic youth development and peer mentoring initiative. 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗗 by the 𝗢𝗿𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱, this program is strategically 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of youth leaders in Cagayan de Oro.

Project Bangka operates as a structured, long-term journey anchored on the 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. The program focuses on three core pillars:

•𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿-𝘁𝗼-𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Training young leaders to actively guide, support, and mentor their fellow youth.

•𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵: Addressing the complete development of an individual. Including intellectual, emotional, social, and leadership capacities.

•𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Fostering a profound sense of family, brotherhood, and continuous guidance, ensuring that no young person pursues their personal or leadership journey alone.

Project Bangka aims to establish a sustainable ecosystem of accountability and growth, enabling the youth to rise above challenges, lead with integrity, and thrive in their respective communities.
