“Service with a Heart”, a joint initiative of RC of Golden Friendship and RC of Uptown CDO, enabled us to visit and provide food donations and inspiration to an orphanage housing children under 18 years old at the Calabrian Children Foundation in Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro.

The Rotary Club of Golden Friendship, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Uptown CDO and the Rotary Club of East Misamis Oriental, facilitated a Peace Dialogue (Peace in Practice) involving the AFP - Claveria, LGU - Claveria, and 20 Rebel Returnees. Additionally, the clubs distributed a sack of rice to each Returnee's family and conducted Free Dental Clinic, Free Eyeglasses, and Free Maternal Clinic services. This initiative aligns with Rotary International's Peace Building and Conflict Resolution efforts.

As part of its yearly endeavors to advance Rotary International's Area of Focus on Environment Protection, the Rotary Club of Golden Friendship launched a Coastal Clean Up initiative, culminating in the collection of a substantial amount of trash from the shoreline of Opol. We recognize the contributions of the Municipality of Opol and the 723rd Naval Squadron Reserve of the Philippine Navy.
