Not a problem anymore! The Biophilic Society is launching LabKATA, a promotion of lab safety and giving back to our departmentโ€™s community. ๐Ÿงค๐Ÿงช

But what does LabKATA mean? ๐Ÿ‘€
LAB comes from laboratory, while KATA comes from Catalyst. KA means "you" and TA means "us". Together, LabKATA represents you and us as catalysts for a safer laboratory community. โœจ

Any students enrolled in BS Biology and BS Marine Biology are entitled to one (1) pair of gloves and one (1) face mask per day. ๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿงค

The Office of the President of the Xavier University Biophilic Society has officially released Memorandum No. 008-2627. In collaboration with the Student's Rights and Welfare Commission and the Justice of Peace, the society is launching "Dear Biophilic," a dedicated grievance and suggestion system. This initiative provides students with a secure, confidential, and accessible channel to submit feedback, concerns, and recommendations aimed at improving the Biology and Marine Biology community. Students may submit physical forms using the suggestion box located on top of the Biology Department pigeonhole cabinet, or opt for online submission.

To submit your concerns online, please follow these steps:

A growing reputation with national medals and an international ranking, ๐‹๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐ˆ๐š๐ง ๐‚. ๐ƒ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ, a secondโ€‘year BS Biology student at Xavier University โ€“ Ateneo de Cagayan, hammered an outstanding performance after harboring gold and two bronze medals at the Philippine Archery Cup Stage 3 and finishing 7th in Asia at the Presidentโ€™s Challenge Cup in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Archery is a sport that requires more than physical skill. Emotional control, patience, and the ability to be methodical and unshakeable are qualities that mirror Datilesโ€™ discipline, which he applies in his Biology coursework and on the field.
