Sixteen years have passed since the Ampatuan Massacre, the deadliest attack on journalists in the world. We remember the 58 victims whose lives were taken in the pursuit of truth, service, and democracy.

As the youth, we carry forward the responsibility to defend press freedom and demand lasting justice.

We remember so that no silence, power, or fear can ever bury the truth again.
