More YC and BCA of Sitio Mahayag are hard at work preparing the banderitas that will soon color our streets and signal one thing: Fiesta is coming! 🎉🎊
These little flags are more than just decoration. They are symbols of joy, unity, and thanksgiving—waving over our homes, our roads, and our hearts as we get ready to celebrate another year of blessings, friendship, and faith. Every banderita tied, every string stretched across the street, is a reminder that in Sitio Mahayag, we don’t just wait for Fiesta—we build it together.
Our Youth and BCA members are leading the way once again, showing that serving the community isn’t only about big events or big speeches. Sometimes, it’s about showing up with simple hands, ready to help, ready to create beauty out of ordinary things. From cutting cloth to tying knots, from planning designs to hanging the first lines, every small task is part of a bigger picture: a vibrant, welcoming, and united Sitio Mahayag.
As these banderitas start to rise above our streets, may they also raise our spirits. May they remind us that even in ordinary days, there is something to celebrate. May they invite neighbors to join, strangers to feel at home, and everyone to remember that we are one community, one family, one Sitio Mahayag.
Fiesta is not just about food, music, or programs. It’s about people. It’s about the spirit of bayanihan that lives in every volunteer who helped prepare these symbols of celebration. So when you see the banderitas fluttering in the wind, know that behind them are young hearts saying, “We care. We’re here. We’re ready to celebrate—together.”
Sitio Mahayag, get ready. The banderitas are up, the spirit is high, and Fiesta is on its way! 🎈🎨🙌
