🐾❤️ EVERY LITTLE ACT OF KINDNESS MATTERS

Sometimes, we think we need to do something big to make a difference. But change can begin with something as simple as a bowl of food, a little time, a helping hand, or choosing to care.

The school cats may not understand the kindness behind every meal they receive, every veterinary treatment they get, or every spay and neuter that helps give them a safer future—but their lives are changed because someone cared. 🐱❤️

No one person can do everything. But everyone can do something.
One person may feed.
Another may donate food.
Someone may help with veterinary expenses.
An organization may provide free spay and neuter.
Others may simply share, encourage, or choose not to ignore an animal in need. Each contribution may seem small, but together, they become something much bigger—a community of compassion. 🙏

And even when life is difficult and resources are limited, kindness is still possible. We don't have to have much to give something.
May we never underestimate the power of a small act of kindness. One meal can fill a hungry stomach. One helping hand can save a life. One caring heart can inspire another. 🐾 If we all do what we can, many lives can be changed.

🐾❤️ SHOUT-OUT TO ONE OF OUR GENEROUS DONORS — MA’AM NUROL ❤️🐾

A heartfelt thank you to Ma’am Nurol for immediately responding to our call for help when we needed cat food. Honestly, ulaw man gyud ba to message you and ask for help. But when you are the one standing in front of hungry cats, watching them patiently wait for food, lisod kaayo magpakaaron-ingnon nga kaya pa nimo tanan.

Dali ra kaayo nahurot ang food from one of our consistent and generous donors. And the reality is, ubay-ubay sila pakaonon—not only the cats inside COC, but also the strays outside the campus who sometimes come hoping there will be something left for them.

Most of the time, the feeder uses her own pocket to help provide for them. But right now, she is also struggling financially. She is a rescuer on her own, yet she continues to feed these cats—not because someone ordered her to, and not because she is required to, but simply because her heart cannot ignore hungry animals. 🥺🐱

Cats of COC have learned to make do with whatever is available—leftovers generously shared by students and employees, and food that might otherwise be thrown away. But seeing them enjoy even one decent meal a day, eating peacefully with full tummies, brings a kind of fulfillment that is difficult to explain. ❤️

So again, thank you so much, Ma’am Nurol! Despite being a busy person with many responsibilities as a CEO, you still find room in your heart for animals who have no voice and no one else to depend on. Thank you for being an advocate, a volunteer, a supporter, and someone with such a soft heart for strays. 🐾❤️ And of course, a special thank you to your pogi future Engr. bro for personally bringing the cat food to COC! 😄🐱 Your effort and kindness are very much appreciated. Nakaupo si Bogoy sa tabi ng bintana sa paaralan,
inaantok at tila gusto munang magpahinga. 🐱💤
Sa kanyang harapan, may bote ng Coke na malapit nang maubos.
Pero maya-maya, may narinig o may nakita siya sa ibaba—
at bigla siyang nagising at naging alerto. 👀

Parang buhay lang ng tao.
Minsan, pagod na tayo.
Gusto na nating huminto, magpahinga
at kalimutan muna ang lahat.

Pero biglang may pangyayaring darating
na gigising sa atin at magpapaalala
na kailangan nating maging matatag at handa.
Hindi naman masama ang mapagod.

Tao lang tayo. May mga araw na nauubusan tayo ng lakas,
parang bote na unti-unting nauubos.
Pero ang mahalaga, kapag may bagong hamon na dumating, bumangon tayo, dumilat, at harapin ito. ❤️

Dahil ang buhay ay hindi laging tungkol sa pagiging malakas.
Minsan, tungkol din ito sa pag-alam kung kailan magpapahinga
at kung kailan muling babangon.

Salamat, Bogoy, sa simpleng paalala. 🐱🤍
Kahit gaano tayo kapagod,
huwag nating kalimutang may panibagong pagkakataon
sa bawat paggising. 🌿✨

🐾 NOT ALL WHO NEED LOVE LOOK BEAUTIFUL 💔

Three little kittens were simply trying to survive. They were born in a difficult place somewhere around MS Ground—dirty, vulnerable, hungry, and exposed to all the dangers of life.

They were not the kind of kittens that most people would immediately look at and say, “I want to adopt them.” Sadly, many adopters prefer kittens that are already clean, healthy, playful, and beautiful. Few are willing to take the harder journey—the vet visits, medicines, proper nutrition, and financial responsibility that come with helping a sick, weak, or fragile animal recover.

Then, one holiday, their feeder arrived earlier than usual to bring them food. But something was different. One of the three kittens was missing. She searched everywhere, hoping the little one was simply hiding. But her heart sank when she finally found the kitten lifeless in a basement area. 💔

That moment changed everything. She couldn't leave the remaining two kittens to face the same fate. So she brought them home—not because they were the cutest, not because they were already healthy, and not because caring for them would be easy.
She brought them home because they were alive, they were vulnerable, and they deserved a chance. She chose to foster them and give them a safe place to heal, grow, and hopefully find a loving forever home. ❤️🐾

It takes a special kind of compassion to do that.
❤️ Compassion means helping even when there is nothing to gain.
❤️ Love means seeing worth even when others only see flaws.
❤️ Kindness means choosing to care, even when caring is difficult.

And perhaps these two little kittens have a lesson for us as human beings, too. Sometimes, we judge people by what we see—their appearance, their mistakes, their financial situation, their struggles, or the circumstances they were born into. We are naturally drawn to those who already look successful, beautiful, strong, and put together. But what about those who are struggling? What about the person who is broken, tired, poor, lonely, or simply trying to survive? Do they deserve less love because their life isn't beautiful yet?

These two kittens remind us that sometimes, the ones who need us most are not the ones who look perfect. They are the ones who need someone to say: “You may not have had an easy beginning, but you still deserve a chance.” 🐾❤️

The third kitten was not saved in time, but her life was not meaningless. Her passing became the reason someone decided that the remaining two would not be left behind. May we learn to look beyond appearances. Because a life does not have to be beautiful to be valuable. And sometimes, the greatest act of love is simply refusing to walk away. 🐾💔❤️

Be the person who sees worth where others see inconvenience.
Be the person who chooses compassion when it is easier to look away.

Your life was short, but you mattered. You were loved. You will never be forgotten. 🤍🐾

Cats of COC, once again, a million times, thank you, Ma’am Jaine. ❤️🐾 We are deeply grateful for your generosity and for continuously sharing your blessings with the Cats of COC by donating food for them. Perhaps the Creator truly knows the struggles of the caregiver—someone who can barely afford enough for herself, yet continues to care for and feed this growing number of cats. Maybe that is why He sends genuinely compassionate and kind-hearted people like you, Ma’am Jaine, to share whatever blessings you have and extend your love to these innocent lives. 🙏❤️

We are also grateful to some employees and students who remember the Cats of COC and share some of their food with them. Even though it may seem like a small gesture, for a hungry cat, it can mean so much. Every little act of kindness helps. 🐾❤️

And even though Mitzi is no longer with us, Ma'am Jaine have never forgotten her. She made sure she had her favorite food while she was recovering at the caregiver’s house. Now that she has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, you continue to keep her memory alive by bringing her favorite food for Bolter, her only surviving kitten. 🌈🐾❤️ Bolter was the only survivor of Mitzi’s litter. When he was still a tiny kitten and in poor condition, the caregiver decided to adopt him and give him a safe and loving home.
Today, Bolter continues to be loved and cared for. And every time he receives the food that his mother, Mitzi, once loved, it feels as though a little piece of her is still here with us. 🥺❤️

Thank you, Ma’am Jaine, for remembering not only the cats who are still with us, but also those who have left their paw prints in our hearts. Your kindness is truly a blessing to the Cats of COC.
May the Creator continue to bless you abundantly, as well as every employee and student who shares even a little of what they have with these innocent lives. 🙏❤️🐾

Ang munting kuting na ito ay pinapakain gabi-gabi, at kadalasan ay isa siya sa mga huling pusang napapakain ng caregiver pagkatapos ng trabaho.

Dahil madilim na sa lugar kapag oras ng pagpapakain, hindi agad napansin na may problema na pala ang mga kuting. Ngunit ang kuting na nasa larawan ang talagang malubhang naapektuhan ang mata. Sa kaunting liwanag mula sa ilaw, napansin ito ng caregiver. Gusto sana niya itong kunin agad, ngunit wala siyang dalang lalagyan, kaya napagpasyahan niyang balikan na lamang ito kinabukasan.

Kinabukasan, saktong may isang empleyadong dumaan sa lugar at napansin din ang kalagayan ng kuting. Agad niya itong kinuhanan ng litrato at ipinadala sa caregiver. Kaya naman bago pa tuluyang dumilim, agad silang bumalik sa lugar, kinuha ang kuting, nilinis, at inilagay muna sa isang ligtas at maayos na lugar.

Ipinadala rin ang mga larawan sa suking veterinarian. Ayon sa vet, kailangan siyang dalhin para masuri nang mabuti ang kanyang kalagayan at mabigyan ng tamang gamot at vitamins upang makatulong sa kanyang recovery.

Kung may mga pusong nais tumulong sa veterinary care, gamot, at vitamins ng kawawang kuting na ito, malaking tulong po ang anumang halaga. 🙏🐱❤️

Si Senyor at ang Munting Mangkok ng Pag-asa 🐱🍚🐟

Si Senyor ay tahimik na kumakain,
Sa pink na mangkok, biyayang kay gandang pagmasdan.
Kaning may isda, simpleng pagkain,
Ngunit sa puso niya, ito’y malaking biyaya’t ligaya rin. 💗

Bawat subo ay puno ng pasasalamat,
Sa pusong minsan ay nakaranas ng hirap at gutom.
Sapagkat para sa isang munting nilalang,
Ang isang mangkok ng pagkain ay pag-ibig na walang katumbas. 🐾
Hindi kailangang maging mayaman upang makatulong,
Hindi kailangang malaki ang maibigay.
Minsan, isang mangkok lamang ng pagkain,
Ay sapat nang magbigay ng pag-asa sa isang buhay. ❤️

Once again, our deepest and heartfelt gratitude goes to Ma’am Jaine for her consistent and generous support through her donations of cat food for the Cats of COC. 🐱❤️

Even though she had to return to Manila for a personal matter, and despite the heavy rains and stormy weather there, the Cats of COC never left her thoughts and heart. She always makes sure to check if they have enough food to eat.

Ma’am Jaine has personally been buying and delivering cat food to the school, but now that she is back in Manila, she still finds ways to send food and make sure the cats are taken care of. Without hesitation, she sent monetary support so we could purchase their food and ensure that our beloved cats would not go hungry while she is away.

We truly cannot express enough how grateful we are for your unwavering love, kindness, and generosity toward the Cats of COC, Ma’am Jaine. 🥹❤️
