SALIG is an SSGC partylist of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines - Senior High School. On May 24, 2022, SALIG (also known as Students Aspiring to Lead with Innovation and Genuineness) Partylist was founded. It is a student-run political organization at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP). SALIG strives to continue housing the most v
aried and resilient USTP student leaders who consistently battle for the greater good. Current student leaders under the partylist are involved with a variety of groups within and beyond the university. Among these are initiatives for good governance, environmental transformation, community participation, and leadership development. Integrated with SALIG's core beliefs are Communication, Commitment, Patriotism, and Equality, these student leaders are not only capable but also socially conscious individuals who strive for the university and beyond's betterment. The objective of the partylist is to cultivate and produce competent and devoted student leaders with a strong desire for service who will soon become the next generation of community leaders in their respective environments
