Last January 11, 2026, the Liceo Union of Non-Academic Scholars (LUNAS) gathered at the Liceo Civic Center for the 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙩-𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥, marking a meaningful start to the new semester through celebration, connection, and shared purpose.

The event brought together both new and returning scholars, providing a welcoming space to build friendships and strengthen camaraderie within the organization. Guided by the theme 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙚, the gathering was filled with vibrant performances, heartfelt conversations, and moments of joy that reflected the unity and warmth of the LUNAS community.

Beyond the celebration, the event served as a recognition of the scholars’ dedication, hard work, and continued commitment to service. Through shared laughter and meaningful interactions, the fellowship highlighted the importance of community, reminding everyone that growth and belonging flourish when individuals come together.

With over 105,000 views, 5,200 shares, and 2,100 reactions on Facebook, the Liceo Union of Non-Academic Scholars emerged victorious in the Piliin ang Saya with TNT content creation campaign.

On April 4, 2025, at the Office of Student Affairs, LUNAS was awarded for achieving the highest online engagement among all participating student organizations in Cagayan de Oro City.

Ms. Tynna Calipayan-Samonte, Smart Communications, Inc. Manager, presented the award to Mrs. Jeanette L. Noynay, Office of Student Affairs Coordinator and LUNAS Coordinator, alongside LUNAS President Adrian Emmanuel C. Omar and fellow members. The organization also received a cash prize, which they plan to use for future projects and activities.

This victory highlights the creativity, teamwork, and dedication of LUNAS members—proving that they are not only building dreams but also breaking limits.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Liceo Union of Non-Academic Scholars (LUNAS) warmly welcomed new scholars for the second semester during an orientation held last Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the East Academic Cluster Room 103. The event aimed to familiarize scholars with the scholarship program, organizational policies, and the high standards upheld by LUNAS.

Spearheaded by the Office of Student Affairs and LUNAS Coordinator, Mrs. Jeanette L. Noynay, along with the organization’s officers, the gathering provided essential guidance and encouragement to the newly admitted scholars. It served not only as an introduction to their roles and responsibilities but also as an avenue to foster camaraderie and unity among members.

The orientation highlighted key policies and expectations, ensuring that scholars understand the values and commitment required to maintain their scholarships. With an optimistic outlook, the event concluded on a high note, marking the beginning of a promising journey for the new members within LUNAS.

The successful gathering signifies the organization's continuous dedication to supporting non-academic scholars, reinforcing its commitment to excellence and holistic development.
