Youth leadership is about creating opportunities, empowering communities, and inspiring others to take action. Our next speaker has dedicated his journey to advancing meaningful youth participation, social inclusion, and community development.

Get to know 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗮, as he shares his experiences in youth leadership, community development, and social work, inspiring young leaders to become active changemakers in their communities.

𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗮 is a Bachelor of Science in Social Work student at Lourdes College, Cagayan de Oro City, and a dedicated youth leader and community development advocate. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Kagay-Anon Youth Network Alliance, Community Involvement Program Commissioner of the Junior Social Work Association – Lourdes College Chapter, and a Sector Representative of the Oro Youth Development Council, where he contributes to youth policy discussions, leadership initiatives, and community development programs that promote meaningful youth participation.

Previously, John served as the President of the Kagay-Anon Youth Network Alliance, leading youth-centered initiatives focused on education, community development, and youth empowerment. Throughout his leadership journey, he has actively collaborated with government agencies, civil society organizations, and youth groups to advance programs that foster social inclusion, volunteerism, and civic engagement.

As Project Head of the Youth Advocates Project, John has led and supported community-based initiatives addressing educational needs, agricultural awareness, and youth development in underserved communities. His commitment to service and leadership has earned him recognition through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Opportunity 2.0 Program Most Outstanding Youth Leader Award and the iVolunteer Philippines Social Innovation Challenge. He was also part of the collective effort that led the Youth AGvocates Project to be recognized by the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) Awards. And received the “Hello Pagkain Award” by Senator Kiko Pangilinan for their efforts towards food security.

Grounded in the principles and values of social work, John continues to champion youth empowerment, community participation, and collaborative leadership, striving to create sustainable and inclusive change within communities and among the next generation of leaders.

23 𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 2025 — On its fifth year of implementation, KAYA NA’s Share Your Blessings Project went beyond boundaries, reaching over a hundred children and their families in Barangay Lingion, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. 💛

The Share Your Blessings Project is a community outreach initiative that has become KAYA NA’s annual gift-giving tradition since 2021.
