ABCMPC Celebrates Growth and Shared Success at the 7th Annual General Assembly

The A Brown Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ABCMPC) held its 7th Annual General Assembly on February 27, 2026, at the XSCC Bar Lounge in Cagayan de Oro City. The gathering brought together members to celebrate the cooperative’s progress, milestones, and shared achievements.

With the theme “ABCMPC: Kaagapay sa Buhay, Kooperatibang Tapat, Tunay at may Malasakit,” the event also marked an important milestone as the cooperative formally embraced its transition into a multi-purpose cooperative, opening more opportunities to serve its members.

Led by the Board of Directors and Management, the assembly highlighted a year of steady growth and responsible leadership.

Members also unanimously ratified the acts of the Board and Management.

2025 Performance Highlights

ABCMPC continued to grow in 2025, with encouraging results:

✔ Assets grew significantly — from about Php 34 thousand in 2019 to Php 19.4 million in 2025
✔ Declared dividend of 7.65% and patronage refund of 12.62% for 2025

From very humble beginnings, ABCMPC has steadily grown through the collective trust, participation, and support of its members — proving that when people come together with a shared purpose, meaningful growth is possible.

Looking Ahead

ABCMPC also shared its development roadmap toward 2030, with the goal of growing into a medium-sized cooperative while expanding services and strengthening member programs.

Recognizing Member Participation

The assembly also honored members through several award categories, recognizing their active participation and support for the cooperative.

NOTICE TO ALL CONCERNED:

Abrown Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ABC MPC), in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment Region 10 (DOLE 10), National Food Authority Region 10 (NFA 10), and Food Terminal Inc., is pleased to bring the ₱20 ‘Benteng Bigas, Meron Na’ Program to our workplace.

Through this program, ABC MPC will purchase rice from NFA 10 and Food Terminal Inc. and will sell it to target workers and members at a subsidized price of ₱20 per kilo. The rice is bought by NFA 10 from local farmers at ₱33 per kilo, with the government subsidizing the difference, making this affordable price possible for minimum wage earners.

Each eligible worker may purchase up to 10 kilos.

Interested minimum wage earners from SPI and other business partners may place their orders until tomorrow, June 20, 2025.
