Today, our community faced a heartbreaking tragedy as a devastating fire. Among the structures lost was the Sta. Cruz Chapel, a place very close to our hearts, where we gathered for meetings, prayers, fellowship, and countless moments of bonding as one family in faith.
The fire also destroyed the home and upholstery shop (RDM Upholstery) of our former AYM President, Kate Ashley Mercado, which served not only as their livelihood but also as their home filled with personal belongings, memories, and years of hard work.
We extend our deepest gratitude to LGU CAMAMAN-AN, led by Punong Barangay Kap.Carl Harrison Galarrita and the Barangay Council, together with the brave responders from BFP Nazareth Fire Station and BFP Cogon Fire Station, whose swift response helped prevent further loss and protected many lives.
As one community, we humbly ask for your prayers and any form of assistance to help the family recover and cover the cost of the clientโs lost project. Any help, big or small, will truly make a difference as they begin again from this tragedy.
