To all Sitio Adela residents,

Due to unexpected circumstances, our St. Cruz Fiesta activities have been rescheduled to September 25–27, 2026. We sincerely apologize that the activities could not be held on the actual fiesta date, September 14.

As AYM Officers, dili gyud mi mosugot nga walay kalingawan ang Sitio Adela. Bisan nalangan gamay, importante nga magkahiusa gihapon ta ug malingaw tang tanan. 💙

Below is the list of activities we have prepared for everyone. We hope you will join us and enjoy these three days of fun, games, and celebration with your family and friends.

Together, we proved that even small actions can create a big difference. 🌱🧹

The ADELA YOUTH MOVEMENT conducted a Clean-Up Drive in Sitio Adela with the goal of keeping our community clean, safe, and beautiful for everyone. Thank you to all the youth volunteers and residents who participated and gave their time and effort for this activity.

A cleaner community starts with us. 💚

In the midst of hardship, kindness still finds its way. 🤍

Even though Sitio Adela was also affected by the fire last April 26, 2026, they still chose to extend a helping hand to our fellow fire victims in Macajalar, Camaman-an last April 27, 2026.

The youth of Adela donated some of their clothes and we also shared small donations for the affected families. It may not be much, but we hope it somehow brought comfort and support during this difficult time.

We would also like to thank the employees of Pepsi Corp for donating Lipton Soda and other beverages for the victims. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated.

April 26, 2026 | Around 9:00 AM — Adela Subdivision, Brgy. Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro

Today, our community faced a heartbreaking tragedy as a devastating fire. Among the structures lost was the Sta. Cruz Chapel, a place very close to our hearts, where we gathered for meetings, prayers, fellowship, and countless moments of bonding as one family in faith.

The fire also destroyed the home and upholstery shop (RDM Upholstery) of our former AYM President, Kate Ashley Mercado, which served not only as their livelihood but also as their home filled with personal belongings, memories, and years of hard work.

We extend our deepest gratitude to LGU CAMAMAN-AN, led by Punong Barangay Kap.Carl Harrison Galarrita and the Barangay Council, together with the brave responders from BFP Nazareth Fire Station and BFP Cogon Fire Station, whose swift response helped prevent further loss and protected many lives.

As one community, we humbly ask for your prayers and any form of assistance to help the family recover and cover the cost of the client’s lost project. Any help, big or small, will truly make a difference as they begin again from this tragedy.
