The Office of Cong. Rufus B. Rodriguez, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment – Region X (DOLE-X), is now accepting applications for the Third Batch of 2026 interns under the Government Internship Program (GIP).
Through this program, qualified young Kagay-anons will be given the opportunity to gain actual and practical work experience in government, develop valuable skills and competencies, and participate in public service. Under DOLE Department Order No. 204-B, Series of 2026, the GIP seeks to introduce youth participants to public service by involving them in government programs and projects through various departments and agencies.
For the Third Batch of 2026, the program will provide internship opportunities to 147 qualified youth beneficiaries who will be deployed to partner government agencies in Cagayan de Oro City.
𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗬
Applicants must:
✅ Be 18–30 years old
✅ Be at least a high school graduate, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized under the GIP guidelines; and
✅ Have no prior work experience as an employee in any government agency or instrumentality
𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗗𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
The third batch of 2026 GIP interns will serve for a minimum of three (3) months, or approximately sixty-six (66) actual working days, subject to the final internship agreement and implementation schedule.
Qualified interns will receive a daily stipend of ₱500.00 per day, consistent with the applicable minimum wage rate for the area of deployment.
