There is a particular kind of silence that visits the streets just before sunrise — a sacred window between darkness and daylight where change does not announce itself but simply begins. The Iga sa Kalimpuo Clean-Up Drive is not merely an environmental initiative; it is a declaration that the streets of Gusa belong to us, and if they belong to us, then we have a duty to restore whatever dignity they have lost under the weight of neglect.

This will not be glamorous. There will be sweat, there will be dirt, and there will be the humbling sensation of doing something that will never make it to a headline. But there will also be camaraderie, purpose, and the quiet pride of looking back at a stretch of road that now looks entirely different from how you found it. The earth does not need your words. It needs your hands.

A Mikasa volleyball ball was reported lost during the Dos Singko Volleyball League held on June 7, 2026 at barangay Gusa, Covered court.
