Project PAASKO, implemented by the ISDA Mambuaya Association, has been conferred the Special Citation Award in Education at the Kinanao 2026 Awards. The awarding ceremony, which recognized outstanding school-based and community-based organizations, as well as exemplary individuals and projects, was held on July 30, 2026, at the City Tourism Hall.

The project was recognized for addressing one of the Cityโ€™s priority development sectors by bringing hope and support to children in hinterland communities.

This recognition is a meaningful milestone for the ISDA Mambuaya Association. For the first time in its history, the Association qualified a project for the Kinanao Awards and was honored with a Special Citation in Education. It is also a humbling privilege to become the first hinterland organization to receive a project-based Kinanao Award: an achievement that reflects the dedication of its volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.

With the continued support of its partners, donors, and the City Education and Development Office, the ISDA Mambuaya Association will continue to strive and create projects that matter.

On June 7, 2026, the ISDA Mambuaya Association gathered for a meaningful year-end celebration entitled โ€ The activity provided an opportunity for scholars to look back on the academic year and reflect on the experiences that shaped their journey.

Through heartfelt sharing and reflection, scholars recounted the challenges they overcame, the milestones they celebrated, and the moments that contributed to their personal and academic growth. It was a meaningful gathering that highlighted resilience, gratitude, and the strong sense of community among City Scholars.

The day concluded with a feeding program for the children in the community, reminding everyone that the true journey of a scholar extends beyond academic success and is reflected in acts of compassion, service, and giving back.

Indeed, every page tells a story, and every memory shapes our journey. As this chapter comes to a close, may the lessons learned, friendships formed, and experiences shared continue to guide and inspire every City Scholar in the chapters yet to be written.

In the spirit of bayanihan, the ISDA Mambuaya Association lent a helping hand to Brigada Eskwela 2026, embracing the theme "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman" on June 5.

To help prepare schools for the upcoming academic year, the volunteer scholars cooperated in cleaning classrooms and school grounds, while also able to gather in-kind donation from the officers. In commitment to service and volunteerism, their efforts went a long way in creating a conducive learning environment for students.

Mabuhay, ISDA Mambuaya Association!
