The City Education and Development Office proudly presents the 2nd 𝗜𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗦: 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿—a citywide blood donation drive that brings life-saving opportunities directly to colleges and universities across Cagayan de Oro.

In partnership with Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, the campus tour will be held at the 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆 on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟬𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, from 𝟳:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠. We warmly invite all Ateneans to take part in this meaningful initiative—an opportunity to save lives, demonstrate compassion, and embody the true spirit of volunteerism.

This initiative responds to the urgent need for blood in hospitals and communities, while bringing together the academic community in a shared mission of service and solidarity.

𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗫𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶, 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳. Non-scholar representatives (e.g., parents, friends, or companions) are also welcome to participate.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀: If you are not qualified to donate blood due to medical reasons, you may still render community service by bringing a parent, relative, or companion who can donate on your behalf. For security purposes, please note that accompanying parents or companions who will join the event must bring a valid ID upon entry.

Successful blood donors will be considered as rendering 3 Individual Volunteerism SDP, while those who bring a donor (parent, relative, or companion) will earn an additional +1 Community Volunteerism; those who attempt but are unsuccessful will be granted 1 IV.

Voices of strength, courage, and inspiration filled the space as 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 brought together empowered women for a meaningful CDO Women’s Talk. More than just a gathering, it became a space for shared stories, learning, and genuine connection. 🫂

Led by the encouraging voices of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐨 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧-𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬, and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐆𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫, new perspectives on what it truly means to lead, how to rise above challenges and make an impact as women in our communities were expressed. 🌸

Each story shared reminded us that leadership comes in many forms; and that every woman has the power to create change, uplift others, and lead her own story with purpose. 💫

Last March 28, 2026, the space became more than just a venue, it became a place for learning, listening, and understanding. Participants took part in the 𝐂𝐒𝐖𝐃 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐀 𝟏𝟏𝟖𝟔𝟏, gaining deeper awareness of the realities and rights of solo parents. 💜

With 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐟𝐚 guiding the discussion, the session shed light on the support systems available and the importance of creating a more inclusive and compassionate community for women and families.

It was a powerful reminder that empowerment also comes from knowing—knowing our rights, our roles, and how we can stand for others. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

Stories unfolded on screen as participants gathered for the 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 at Limketkai Mall as the second event for 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐇𝐞𝐫: 𝐒𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. 🎞️💜

Featuring short films Carmen, Mandy, Confess, and When Simon Met Samantha, each piece sparked reflection on lived experiences, emotions, and realities that resonated with the audience. The conversation continued beyond the screen through a meaningful talkback session led by 𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐂. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬, where participants shared insights and engaged in thoughtful dialogue. 💬✨

It was a powerful blend of storytelling and discussion—highlighting voices, perspectives, and the impact of film as a medium for awareness and connection. 💫

In partnership with CDO Trivia Night, AXUOS brought the fun last March 28, 2026 at Limketkai Mall, as knowledge, confidence, and brilliance took over in the Womencyclopedia: Trivia Quiz! 📑💜

Participants went head-to-head through a series of fun and unpredictable questions that truly tested wit, teamwork, and quick thinking. From unexpected facts to brain-teasing rounds, the energy stayed high all throughout the game! 🔥

Congratulations to 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐰𝐳 for emerging as the champion and claiming the top spot! Kudos as well to all participating teams for making the competition both exciting and memorable. 💫

For this session, we will be welcoming 𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐂. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬, Director of Creative Development at Nagkahiusang Magsusulat sa Cagayan de Oro (NAGMAC).

A writer and literary scholar, she has been a fellow in various regional and national workshops, with works published in journals, reflecting her dedication to storytelling and literary craft. She holds a Master of Arts in English Language from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan and is currently pursuing her PhD in Literature at De La Salle University Manila.

With her experience in storytelling and literary work, she will guide us through a meaningful film viewing and discussion.💜
