𝐀 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡: 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟖 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Today, our Grade 8 students joyfully received the Sacrament of Confirmation, a significant step in their spiritual journey, presided over by the esteemed Archbishop Jose Araneta Cabantan of Cagayan de Oro. This sacred occasion marks not only the strengthening of their faith but also their commitment to live as active members of the Church.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parents and teachers whose unwavering support, guidance, and dedication made this momentous occasion possible. Your love and commitment to nurturing the faith of our young people have laid a strong foundation for their spiritual growth.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that Confirmation is the sacrament that strengthens the grace received in Baptism, empowering the faithful to be active witnesses of Christ in the world (CCC 1285). It deepens our relationship with the Holy Spirit and equips us to spread the Gospel through our words and actions. As our students embrace the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they are called to serve their communities and live out their faith with courage and conviction.

Fill out all the needed information and upload clear picture or scanned copy of the school records required for admission (as listed above).
✅Wait for a text or SMS message from our Guidance Office for the learner’s assessment schedule. (Note: There is a Php 350.00 Testing / Assessment Fee to be settled upon receipt of your assessment schedule.)
✅The Admissions Office will then give you confirmation on the result of the evaluation or assessment before you can proceed with the enlistment/enrollment.

Your selfless dedication and unwavering spirit of service truly embodied the love of Christ throughout this meaningful event.

Thank you for giving your time and talent, coordinating countless details, and pouring your hearts into making this gathering a success. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we are inspired by your commitment to serving others just as Jesus did.

Together, we created unforgettable memories and deepened our faith, and it was all possible because of you.

𝗖𝗠𝗬𝗗'𝟮𝟲 | 𝗥𝗘𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘, 𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡, 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥! – 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟭𝟮:𝟭𝟮

What a weekend of grace, fire, and fellowship! Last February 20-21, 2026, the Kong Hua School Pastoral Center became a sanctuary of joy as we celebrated the 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 (𝗖𝗠𝗬𝗗).

This year’s CMYD was a special "echo" of the National Youth Day (NYD) 2025 in Caceres. Our ministry members brought home the fire from Caceres, and it was truly felt in every moment! Interestingly, the weather decided to join the "echo" too. Just like the rainy days during NYD Caceres, the rain poured down on us here at KHS. The rain only made the experience more authentic—proving that no downpour can diminish a heart on fire for the Lord.

We were truly honored to have a weekend filled with such meaningful activities and inspiration. It started with the Opening Mass presided over by 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐃, who reminded us of our important role in the Church today as young people. The energy only grew during our sessions, and we want to give a huge thank you to 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐝 “𝐉𝐛𝐨𝐲” 𝐌. 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐒𝐉, and 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨 𝐀. 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝐒𝐉. Their talks really hit home for our young Konghuanians, challenging all of us to live out our faith boldly and with more heart.

The evening was filled with energy and reflection, starting with our Fellowship Night where students showcased their incredible talents. This was followed by a powerful time of jamming and Praise and Worship, leading into a solemn Taizé prayer with Adoration and a bonfire night.

The following day, we continued our journey with a Eucharistic Procession and the Holy Rosary, along with other engaging activities. We officially concluded the celebration with a Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Carlo Lacang, SJ.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make CMYD such a beautiful and holy experience for our young people. Your dedication made all the difference!
